Great Condo, Great Owners

Joe and Karen are great rentees and great people. They were helpful and respectful from the get go and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. The condo is fabulous, nicely decorated, well equipped and loaded with beach stuff which was nice to have. We found the resident manager to be a little gruff with the kids around the pool but we talked to Karen about it and she reassured us that it was a kid friendly complex. It wasnt by any means enough to ruin our trip just a bit unfortunate to have to deal with on our family holiday. Having said that, this complex, condo and Joe and Karen were such a pleasure that we would definately come back.
PS. Pacific Whale Foundation which Joe and Karen both work for does a fantastic whale watching tour, my wife and I as well as our young daughters really enjoyed it and seeing a mama and baby humpback was something we'll remember forever

I spent a great deal of time researching accommodations for our Maui stay, and I was glad to have found Karen and Joe's beautiful condo for our family of 5! Even though I originally looked for an "ocean front" condo, I realized I didn't want to spend the "ocean front" prices. The next best thing is certainly this condo as it is located right across the street from beautiful Kamaole Park III Beach and was easily accessed in under 3 minutes! (you can even see the ocean from the lanai) The condo is fully equipped with items with EVERYTHING you may need on vacation, including beach items, towels, coolers, washer and dryer, plenty of kitchen items, etc. It was also immaculate! The owners live on site as well, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was completely enjoyable. Even before arriving, Karen and Joe were always available to answer any questions by e-mail. Our security deposit was promptly refunded upon departure. Don't pass this one up. You won't be disappointed.

Very accurate and detailed description provided of unit and amenities. Unit has been updated including 2nd bathroom. Complete amenities in unit, which was very convenient. Property is well-mainatined, safe, comfortable, and spacious. Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They helped us out with last-minute reservations for whale-watching through the Pacific Whale Foundation. Location was very accessible. Walking-distance to restaurants and shops. Beach is right across with good area for snorkeling. Highly-recommended!!!

Well equipped condo in a terrific location

Our family, including boys ages 14 and 17, spent a wonderful week here in April. Condo is well laid out and well appointed with amenities to make your stay comfortable. The large central room includes seating for meals both inside and out, and many comfy chairs for reading, The lanai has an expansive view of Haleakela. This bldg off the street is quiter than the one next door. Full kitchen and fridge make longer stays easy. Boogie boards, beach towels, and chairs are available. Kamaole Beach III is across the street, pool and BBQs are available. It is an easy walk to multiple Kihei restaurants. We have enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The hosts were very hospitable, answering questions, making sightseeing suggestions and we felt very welcomed. The unit was clean and well equipped with all the necessary appliances, books and beach equipment for our stay. Although it did not rain the unit had WII and board games for our enjoyment.
We enjoyed the beach being across the street where we sunbathed, swam and snorkeled. Moose McGuillicudy's, a fun restaurant, is within short walking distance.
The photos and listing description were very accurate. We will and have recommended this property to our family and friends.

What a wonderful place to stay and just as pictured! The condo is roomy and well stocked with extras (Wii, hair dryer, iron, rice cooker, beach towels, etc.); the beach/pocket park is just across the street; golf, restaurants, and shopping are close; and the helpful owners live in the same complex. My husband and I look forward to coming back again.

We stayed in this unit from May 7 - 22 and found it to be everything we had hoped and even better than expected. The location was perfect for anything you want to do, the unit looked exactly like the pictures and was very clean and well maintained. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. Not only would I recommend this unit to a friend or relative I can tell you for sure we will be back next year and stay in the same unit. It was perfect!!

Wonderful Kihei Condo!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here the first week of March, 2011. Joe and Karen have done a wonderful job appointing this unit with every amenity one might need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with all the usual appliances, utensils, etc. Loved having the stackable washer/dryer and large flat screen TV(not that we watched it much). There is even a wine bottle fridge which was a nice touch. The bed is comfy, the grounds are nice and quiet and the pool/bbq area is great too. We loved being right across the street from Kamaole III beach park too, so nice to take in the sunset there each night. If you are looking for a mellow, relaxing time in Kihei, Joe and Karen's place is perfect.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Great location,picturesque beaches,great condo. My husband and I greatly enjoyed this condo for one month. We had guests for two of the weeks and had enough space for everyone. The best thing about this condo is that the owners Joe and Karen live here and are very friendly and have a great wealth of information to help make your trip great. We are scuba divers and got great recomendations from Joe and Karen on this and many other things that made this trip truly special.The condo is done in very relaxing colors,is clean and has a kitchen that has everything you need to make a home made meal or if you don't feel like cooking good restaurants are just steps away.We also enjoyed the great pool,barbacure grill and gazebo it was so relaxing to sit out and enjoy dinner prepared on the grill. We saw humpback whales from the beach on scuba diving trips and whale watching trips a great thrill.We went snokeling with turtles and swimming and walking on the beautiful beaches across the street. My favorite place to sit was on the large lanai overlooking Mt. Haleakala. All in all this condo is a lttle piece of paradise in beautiful Maui. We will return again.
