The location was as mentioned in description but the photos did not accurately reflect the rental's appearance. The condo was not clean nor tidy, nor was it well maintained. The water supply on 3rd floor did not exist so had to use shower on second floor. We were very disappointed with these accommodations as seen in the photos. The court yard and the pool were a farce, as were the chaise lounges. I would NOT reccomend this property to anyone.
Owner's Response: Ray & Trudy- Regarding the unit’s cleanliness and being tidy, upon speaking with Jonathan, he informed me that he immediately sent a cleaning crew to the unit. Our general policy is that we clean the unit upon vacating and again clean it the morning of a new renter arrival. Unfortunately, somehow, the morning cleaning did not take place, so the unit was not cleaned since the prior renter vacated a week earlier. We have since instituted another procedure to make sure this does not happen again.
Regarding the 3rd floor water pressure issue- This is unexplainable, as I was in the unit in December, 2011 and again in February of this year and many other times before and since, and I never had a problem. The only thing I can think of is that the complex and town was pretty full at the time and that the municipal water services may have been overtaxed and water pressure suffered as a result, particularly when water had to get to the 3rd floor. We have since replaced the showerheads with high pressure heads so that in the event a similar event occurs, the shower flow should be better, even with reduced water pressure.
Based upon my many visits, the pool and grounds have always been well-maintained. I am not sure what your issue was with the chaise lounges, however, because of the number of people there at the time, there may not have been enough at any one time to satisfy demand. Normally this is not an issue, but the timing may not have been so good for you at that time.
If you read an earlier review of our unit, you will see an entirely different perspective of the unit. Unfortunately, we slipped a bit with you in what we ordinarily deliver to our renters, but in no way does your experience reflect other renters’ experiences. We Please keep in mind that the units are rented and occupied, so they do suffer some wear and tear and we cannot possibly paint after each renter. Jonathan mentioned to me that you wanted him to paint the entire unit. are always striving to make our renter experiences the best it can be.
