perfect place for a wedding
what a magnificent home. Each room is spacious and beautifully decorated. So comfortable and the lay out of the house is perfect. Many happy, big family meals were shared by both sides of the family. We appreciated the houses proximity to shopping and down town events. The owners bent over backward to meet our needs. They are a wealth of information. This is the perfect way to house a large group......comfortably and reasonably. My daughters wedding day was a great success. The catering company loved the huge kitchen, double dishwashers.....HUGE family room that easily transformed into a gorgeous wedding reception room-seating 50 with ample room...AND GREAT VIEWS OF THE OCEAN RIGHT BEHIND THE BRIDE & GROOM...Thank you so Much! Family Reunion
Our family had a great reunion at the Dolphin House in August 2012. There were 30 of us. The house was perfect. We traveled from several states and there was plenty of parking for those who drove. The decor was beautiful and very very clean. We had persons ranging in age from 1 to 80, and there was always something for everyone to do. The beach sand is like fine white sugar. The pool and the tiki hut were used every day. We loved the front porch with ample room for all of us to enjoy. We gathered there every morning for coffee before breakfast. The kitchen table was perfect for our large family. We were able to have buffet serving on the long granite kitchen island. The owners were helpful and quick to respond when we had questions or needed anything. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with our accomodations. I highly recommend this property for large families or reunions.

INCREDIBLE
This house and its' owners are in one word "incredible"! The whole experience was so amazing I don't know where to begin. This house was rented for a wedding and reception which could not have gone any more smoothly thanks to the owners. They were in touch with suggestions and references.
In January here there can be surprise wind, rain and cold but there were alternatives no matter what the surprise. Luckily, we only had wind and cold but the owners were there to see that our plan went accordingly. When you try to coordinate many people to put up walls, tables, chairs, and large propane heaters timing is everything. Everyone showed up as scheduled taking the stress off of me, the mother of the bride.
The house will hold many, many people but with so much space it never felt crowded. The kitchen and prep bar was the center of many meals. We were even able to have a catered rehearsal dinner for 50 on the first level of the house without being cramped. With the game room upstairs, we hardly saw any children because they were always upstairs or playing outside. The views of the ocean and sunsets were awesome from the front porch. In this house we made new friends, it holds many wonderful memories and we will be back for future visits.
