This was our first time visiting Phoenix area and this place made our stay so much better. Fred and Darlene are excellent. Their next door neighbor takes care of the place which is very convenient. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house which was great for two couples like us. The backyard is beautiful. It has everything you could ever want. Loved the fire pit, every night we would jump in the pool first then get in hot tub followed by sitting next to the fire. This area is very quite and safe. We found that the people in the area to be very friendly. The house is located in an excellent location, it's close to the two lakes which we enjoyed walking around. The kitchen has a lot of little things like spices that you would normally have to buy and Safe Way supermarket is close by. The only thing I wish we had done was to stay home and enjoy the place instead of all the shopping LOL. Highly recommend to everyone.

Darlene and Fred are great to work with. Backyard is fantastic! Spent time in the pool /hot tub everyday. Pool is larger than the pictures show. Very close to PIR for the NASCAR fans. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe feeling. Enjoyed walks around the lake and the regional park nearby. Groceries and restaurants within walking distance. House has lots of room and is fully stocked. We will be returning.

AWESOME VACATION WEEK

Well let me start by saying we didnt want to leave after our week stay at this beautiful home. It was totally amazing with everything you need right in your backyard. This was our first time renting a home for a vacation and wasnt too sure what to expect. I must say we will definately be doing this again and if we travel to Arizona we WILL be staying at Fred and Darlene"s wonderful place. There was nothing to complain about , house was beautiful, backyard amazing, owners very very helpful, the only bad thing was is that we had to leave. Thanks Fred and Darlene, we will definately see you again.

WOW ! Would rent it again

Just returned from a 9 day stay with another couple and WOW sums it up.
Great House, Great Location, Nice and Quiet Area and the Backyard is AWESOME.
This house has all the comforts of home and more. The pool is bigger then it looks in the pictures.
Darlene and Fred were great. Called us to make sure we got there ok and checked in half way through our visit.
The manual that they did up on the coffee table in the family rooms let us know everything that we needed to know about the house and the surrounding area.
Great golf courses near by and Spring Training is a 10 minute drive.
There is lots to see and do in Goodyear....that is if you can get yourself out of the pool.
If you are planning a trip to Arizona you must rent this house.

Had a great time at this home, the owners are marvelous and have described their home exactly as it is. The photos nicely portray the home, and the back yard is even larger and more beautiful than it appears. Plenty of room and located in my favourite area of Phoenix. Estrella is a bit of a drive from some of what Phoenix has to offer but the area is very quiet, relaxing and extremely safe which makes the bit of extra driving very worth while for us. The house itself is extremely clean, well finished, very well equipped and nicely located by the lake and the golf course. Favourite restaurants in the area include PF Changs for very unique oriental and Macayo's for some great mexican both are on McDowell. Football and Hockey are both close by, shopping is everywhere. For a great tour head out to Buckeye and south into the desert, or head Northwest and tour Wickenburg for an afternoon. Go karting at K1 or F1 are both highly recomended. It's a bit of a drive but we head to Tortilla Flats for lunch and a unique experience each year as well. Again as far as the property and area go we had a great time in a beautiful home and would HIGHLY recommend this home for your vacation.

This was the PERFECT vacation home. My teammates and I were in Phoenix playing in the MSBL World Series, and this home was absolutely amazing. It was in the perfect location, and had everything we needed and more. Everything was incredible, and the owners were the nicest people who were dedicated to making sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

Everything everyone has about this home is TRUE!!!! Fred and Darlelne are AWESOME!!!! So close to the Lake and EVERYTHING you need is close. The back yard is beautiful and the pool was our favorite. We are not big golfers but the little putting course was sooooo fun! Search no further.....this is the house to rent.

Great house in a perfect central location with easy access to major highway, sports attractions and minutes away from a spectacular golf course (Estrella Golf and Country Club.)
The house was very clean and spacious with a great open concept floor plan. All the amenities needed were available and well stocked for a relaxing holiday. We loved having the free long distance to stay in touch with our families over our stay. The back yard is truly a wonderful oasis to relax throughout the day with the pool and hot tub and into the evening by the fire pit with a nice glass of wine. The putting green and chipping pad was a fun and nice added touch for our golfing vacation. We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood and the close proximity to the lakes. A must see, beautiful sunsets and a wonderful place for evening strolls. The owners were extremely wonderful to work with and truly went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we felt at home. The owners checked in with us throughout our vacation to see if we had any questions and were very accommodating. The house manual located on the coffee table in the great room was easy to find and follow and everything was clearly labelled. We had a wonderful vacation and amazing time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Also our deposit was refunded promptly. Darlene and Fred you were wonderful host and thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Holiday, lovely Home, Incredible yard

We were lucky enough to have 14 days in the Hoffman’s lovely home this past Christmas Holiday season. Everything you need is waiting for you ... all you have to do is show-up. The home is big, beautiful and well appointed. The beds were top notch quality and the rooms are huge. No bad surprises, only good ones.
We felt at home from the day we arrived and Darlene was prompt to return a call when we had a question about the home (most of the answers are in the book on the family room coffee table). Our family of 5, found great comfort in the layout. Plenty of seating for family time games and still more room to hide away and read or relax.
The close proximity to the lakes is fantastic for a daily stroll and the residents around the lakes are so friendly, we met many new friends.
The scenery with lakes birds and palm trees create a beautiful tranquility, and make for some amazing pictures.
The WIFI connection was quick and reliable, and having free long distance was a nice touch for connections over the holidays.
We utilized the huge kitchen or the great Barbeque nightly to prepare gourmet meals and savored the flavor in the separate dining room, while the sunsets glowed red over the Estrella Mountains.
The hot tub and fire pit were an after dinner favourite!
We spent so many nights watching an incredible starry display; they too brought comfort and warmth. It is hard to believe that so many stars can be seen this close to a city as large as Phoenix.
The home feels very secure and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. Our son and daughter loved the Star Pointe for their work-outs and the run to the facility was a scenic warm up for them.
Don't forget to try a Bagel at the small family run Bagel shop by the Safeway across from Star Pointe. They make an amazing Jalapeño & American Cheese Bagel Egg burger. The Coffee is great too, although…. it isn't Tim Horton’s, LOL.
We had a tremendous time, and have absolutely nothing but praise for the owner’s and our experience in their home.
I should add that when we arrived back home our deposit was already awaiting us.

A beautiful house in a beautiful area. It was very clean, and had everything we needed. All of our activities for the week were about 15-20 minute drives away, so you're not really out of the way.
We were also in contact with the owners (Fred and Darlene) throughout the week. Fantastic hosts who actually care about how things are going. We'd definitely rent from them again. Thanks guys!
