We are teachers with a large family, children and grandchildren!
We have always loved this series of beaches best! We had vacationed in the area for years, with our children and good friends. The water has always been perfect, even on the roughest of days and we have felt safe.
The center of the island is rarely crowded, and we have privacy in our subdivision. We can play in our backyard, wander in the sound, but have easy access to a small amusement park, the state aquarium, and several historical sites. Deep sea fishing and charters are near-by, and lots of local restaurants.
