Great Place To Stay!

We took a group of 21 College Soccer Players and 3 Staff down to alabama to play in a couple of games. We contacted Mark about sweet dreams and he seemed excited to have us. With 24 adults we fit perfectly and also utilized all the kitchen space with preparing 6 meals for 24 people. This is a great place to stay with many option!
PS The guys really enjoyed the wide selection of board games!

amazing vacation

we were coming to the gulf for my fathers 60th birthday.. i had never been to the gulf and i had to have a place for 25 plus a infant. the first place i called were not very friendly and i was very upset that it wasnt going to work out for me.. i had to get to the gulf..lol so i finally found sweet dreams and i thought ok im going to contact mark and see what he says... he sent me the info and alot of back and fourth on my part and he was soooo patient with me its hard to plan with so many people and to please everyone.. so lets say mark is a man of his word.. so i knew i was sold.. if i had a question i emailed him and always got a response. he also sent a email 30 days before we left about like where to eat,shop and to go to hot spots. we got to the house it was great.... very clean,plenty of room.. the private pool was the best thing ever.. once we were tired of the beach it was nice to escape to the pool. The house was in a very good location to very short distant to the beach. Also there was a shed of things past tentants left that we could use such as chairs,floats,boogie boards and sand toys so it was nice not to have to buy all of that. but what i did bring i left also.. The house was fully furnished it had eveything you could need to cooking lunch or big dinners. oh lets not forget free wifi..lol we had a few 12 year old who were going crazy with no internet i couldnt get it to working.. 11:00 at night i emailed mark to let him know about the wifi thinking girls go to bed he will call me tommorrow.. oh no he got right back to me still couldnt figure it out he said i will come fix it.. luckly i got it fixed and he didnt have to but lets just say happy mama= happy house lol. I will be coming back to the gulf again and again... not just because i loved the beaches and the sun but because mark made this whole trip so easy to have a good time.. His southern hospitality was amazing!!!!! thanks so much

Love Gulf Shores!

Great place, great pool, great location and great price!! We had a wonderful time and the owners were very helpful and easy to work with. The pool was a great size and we enjoyed many hours there as well the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores,right across the street and no crowds! We love it! Loved hanging at The Hangout and Lulu's and even went into Pensacola to see the Blue Angels and took in a Pensacola Wahoos game(Reds farm team). Outlet mall was fabulous, great golf( but a little hot) and spent a fun morning at the go-kart track. We can't wait to come back again!

Seventeen of us had a wonderful time at Sweet Dreams. Mark was very helpful giving us all the details to fill in the time so we would have a fun family reunion. We do this every other year and move around to various parts of the country. Having two separate kitchens (actually three, but used the third floor seldom)
really gave a lot of options regarding meals. When we wanted all of us to dine together, we often used the second floor deck, weather permitting, so we could enjoy the view of the gulf. Kayacs and mopeds were rented by the younguns and they had a great time.

Family Reunion

There were 20 of us. We fit perfectly for a week in the entire house, being 3 generations. Many loved the beach and all took full advantage of the pool several times daily. The opportunity to sit in the shade in the car ports at mid-day showed to be a special treat to stay out of the heat for many who went up to the deck at dusk. Especially nice to several was the opportunity to gather in small groups times three for coffee each morning in the three living rooms shortly after dawn. This invited for long days and great vibes throughout the entire week. Large dinners were an ease to cook with the facilities of three kitchens available each night.

Wonderful vacation

We had 19 individuals in our party and used the entire house. The pictures do show the house as it it is. Plenty of parking. Do not pull off the driveway as stated. Someone had tried to drive from one driveway to ours and sunk down to her axles. Passers by and our adults helped to pull her out. The pool was wonderful as was the view. We adults really used the decks as a gathering place and additional eating space. Ideal spot for ocean access across the street. Grocery, eateries and shopping is very nice. We would rent this home again.Wonderful vacation!

Fun Family Vacation

We stayed at Sweet Dreams from May 26 to June 2. We had 6 families together with as few as one per family up to 5 per family - 21 people total. The room configuration made it very easy to find the right space for everyone. The kids LOVED the pool and so did the adults. The beach is SO close - just across the street. Everything was very neat & clean. We had everything we needed and no complaints. We took short trips to a nearby fort, to a naval air museum (very cool), a lighthouse & of course shopping. We went out to a couple of nearby restaurants and had great experiences there as well. Thanks Mark!!

We rented out the entire house on May 3 & May 4, 2012. I loved the fact that it was divided up into two separate units(actually 3), connecting by the front porch. I, a head Track & Field coach, along with two other chaperons took down our team that competed in Gulf Shores at State that weekend. The athletes absolutely loved staying in the house.(In past have stayed in hotel rooms) We divided the girls on one side and the guys on the other. The pool was so nice! They were able to enjoy it after each long day of running. We cooked a nice big pasta dinner the first night in and used all of their cooking utensils. Highly recommend Sweet Dreams if you are looking for a place to house a lot of people! Would be great for a wedding party(bridesmaids, groomsmen) or a family vacation, because as I mentioned early, you can retreat back to your own unit after spending time together. The owner, Mark, was so pleasant to work with and very accommodating. I had to call him one night around 9pm with a question and he didn't mind at all. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Great for a large family

We (extended family of 12) rented six bedrooms for a week. The house was great - short walk to the beach, private pool, quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and well-kept, and the owner was extremely helpful and professional. I would highly recommend the house to any large groups looking who don't mind a short walk to get to the beach. We would definitely rent the house again if we returned to gulf shores.

We just returned from 7 nights at Sweet Dreams Vacation Rental. There were 17 of us we rented the entire house for the week. The pool was awesome and with 9 kids among us it was definitely a highlight of the trip. The beach is a short walk away with beautiful white beaches and cool, clear water. The kitchens are well-equipped with everything you would need for cooking. Be sure to bring paper products, trashbags, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent as only your first supply of these items is included. There were hairdryers in the rooms so it was nice not to have to bring that as well. The home is well maintained and the pool was spotless. There were even extra lawn chairs, pool toys, and sand toys that we could use while we were there. There was a charcoal grill available but we never got around to bbqing. Mark is also a great guy to work with..he communicated well and the property was as he described. I can't recommend this place enough and hope we get to go back sometime in the future. If you have the option of renting the entire place, then I would definitely recommend that. I am not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I had to share the pool area with people we didn't know. However, that is a personal preference and you might enjoy either way:)
