This gorgeous ocean view condo is on the 8th floor of Daytona's luxurious Peck Plaza. The condo's unique shape provides breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Halifax River. This 2 bedroom 2 bath has everything you need with a full service kitchen, washer & dryer, comfortable furnishings, balcony, & mirrored walls.The building offers an enormous sun deck with swimming pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, lighted tennis court, basketball court/handball court, and inside we have a billiards room, ping pong room, gym and sauna.

On the beach there are vendors offering everything from hot dogs and hamburgers to four wheelers and bicycles. There's always something entertaining to do.  At the end of the day, take the private owners elevator up to the famous 'Top of Daytona' Restaurant, offering 360 degree panoramic views of all of Daytona as well as a gourmet menu and relaxing lounge. The circular restaurant gives a panoramic view of the city, Halifax River & Atlantic Ocean. It is a heavenly sight that you will never forget. Daytona Beach has much to offer. It is the 'World's Most Famous Beach', the only beach in the nation that you can drive on. Daytona International Speedway is only a few minutes away; home of the world famous Daytona 500. From high speed racing to perfect days on the beach, Daytona has something for everyone. Since it is centrally located, it is only an hour away from all the Disney attractions and Sea World. Just an hour north, view the nation's oldest city, St. Augustine. Visit the mysterious town of Cassadaga and have your fortune told, or take a dip in the invitingly refreshing natural waters of Alexander and DeLeon Springs. lovely condo but dated

The condo was pretty much as expected. It has great views and all the amenities expected. The primary issue is that this unit is now 40 years old and has not been updated or maintained, During our stay the heat and airconditioning was not functioning, the oven was broken, one of the 2 advertised TVs was broken, the unit phone didn't work, taps leaked and we had to repair the the toilet and the vacuum.
The major issue for our vacation rental was that the "heated pool" temperature was between 68 and 70 F. This was a great dissappointment as this was the main attraction for our winter get-away. The other issue is the tennis courts which contained large puddles of water during the entire month of of our stay even though tthere had been no rain for the first 3 weeks.
The beach is lovely and ranks as one of the best we have ever been on. Overall, you get what you pay for and this would have been good value if the unit was better maintained and if the pool was indeed heated.
