Romance by the Sea, a 550 sq ft cottage suite offers couples a place to get away, relax and rejuvenate your relationship in your own clean, intimate space. A private deck, hot tub for two and early morning visits from the resident neighborhood deer are part of the amenities. Just a block from beach access, ocean views from the cottage and the hot tub, gas bbq, wireless internet and luscious pillow top king bed are also included. We're pleased to announce that we have recently installed a gas fireplace, a 40' flat screen TV and a 'smart' DVD player. Family owned and operated, we have decorated and attired the cottage with a private, romantic retreat in mind. High quality linens, full size fridge with ice-maker and cable TV, we don't think you'll need anything more but each other.

Located in the Roads End area of Lincoln City.

About Debi Hertert

We are Debi & Rob, two happily 'retired' folks enjoying life in as many ways as are available to us. We have three fabulous adult children, and three amazing grandchildren. Our family connections take us to Iowa, Colorado, Panama and California. Rob enjoys kayaking with a local group and he rides his bike, baiting and bribing brothers and his kids to ride with him. Debi enjoys dancing, walking, the beach, gardening, reading and writing. We both enjoy yoga and daily meditation. It's amazing to reflect on the over 40 years that we have been married!

We love sharing our love of romance and adventure with others.

What makes this cottage unique

The Romance of the Sea is very likely the only 2 person vacation cottage rental in Lincoln City with a private hot tub and lovely ocean view. It is a stand-alone house, no shared walls, no neighbors right next door disturbing your harmony. We have focused our design and decorations solely with the couple in mind, and offer every convenience we can think of, including bath robes. We mean it when we use our slogan: Bring your Love to the Beach!

Thank you again for letting us spend our anniversary here at the Romance. They say there is no place like home, but we think this place is a very close second. Had a beautiful weekend, sun was out, no wind and the ocean was just gorgeous. Can't wait to come back!

A lovely, relaxed 2 days. In spite of the weather, we were able to enjoy the hot tub and beach. We even saw the deer family...5 in all. Tidal Raves was delicious and the view breathtaking. Be sure to try the bread pudding!

Mommy and Daddy Time

Great weekend getaway. This is a perfect place for us to have some mommy and daddy time - we have six boys -. Best time was sitting in the hot tub at sunset with the deer standing just below us.
