The one bedroom with murphy's bed was ideal for three of us visiting St. Thomas. Well equipped, clean, and exactly as advertised, the condo met our needs in a beautiful site on Cowpet Bay. Sue and Bruce were readily available to us and did everything they could to satisfy us. I would certainly entertain the idea of a return stay at EastEndEden.

We had 4 adults and a 3 year old for a week at the condo. It was the perfect set up for us. We particularly loved the location on the property - we had a wondeful view of the pool and the bay. It was a short walk to both. The condo was clean and updated. We were so pleased that we are considering renting it again next year.

Great way to start the New Year

We had a great week Jan10-17. The condo is so comfortable and well stocked and we used the snorlke gear and visited Maegans Bay, Secret Harbor, and Frenchmans Cove on St Thomas.We also had a great day of snorkling right at the Elysian. We also visited St Francis Bay and Caneel on St John. I had a great massage at the Sea Grape Spa at the Elysian. We loved the fiddle show at Latitude 18 and the sunset at Secret Harbor. We loved Sangrias and The Carribean Fish Company at the Elysian. We also walked over to the Ritz one evening for drinks. East End Eden is in the perfect location to take advantage of the best that St Thomas has to offer. We also spent some wonderful time on the beach reading and drinking delicious smoothies.
Making arrangements with the owners is a breeze and we even got to meet Sue on this trip. She is a pleasure to deal with.
We hope to return soon ---Vacationing at East End Eden is sooo EASY and RELAXING!!!!

We have stayed in this condo three times and find that the property ammenities get better each time we return! The condo description is accurate and the owners are a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to vacation here again since it has become a home away from home for our family.

My daughter and I stayed here while the remainder of our family was next door at the Ritz for my brother's wedding. My other siblings were envious and wished they'd opted for the Elysian! This unit felt like it was custom designed for me and my daughter - we loved the colors, the furniture, the art on the wall, and the pottery! It felt like home, but with a better bed... memory foam, awesome.
The photos are accurate, the view is priceless, the place was spotless. We really just wanted time on the beach or at the pool, good food, and tropical beverages. We found it all here. We had wonderful meals at both restaurants and beverages at the pool bar. The beach was clean and quiet. And we were close enough but far enough from the Ritz to both get time to ourselves and spend time with family. (Perfect.)
Sue and Bruce provide a very good packet of getting started information, which was greatly appreciated and helpful. The only thing I'd add to it as that there is no ATM on the property and cabs are cash only, so plan ahead. And you can buy sunscreen and bug spray at the beach shack, since most of us arrive with just carryons and those items are hard to pack. We found there were items left by previous visitors, including some sunscreen and plenty of kitchen staples. Definitely enough to start off with until you can obtain your own.
I hope we'll be able to vacation here again in the future, and would do so without hesitation!

A Place in Paradise

Even though we have been to St Thomas many times before, this is the first time that we have stayed at this location. This condo is absolutely incredible! The location is just perfect-great views of the property from the balconies but with privacy. The photos are absolutely accurate. This property is immaculate, well cared for, and extremely comfortable. We spent an entire week and did not hear one neighbor-it is very quiet. The kitchen is very well supplied and Bruce and Sue have ensured that no stone is left unturned in providing their guests with a warm and comfortable stay. They have thought of everything! They were so helpful at all times and even called when we arrived to see if we had any questions or concerns. There is no doubt, whatsoever, that we would recommend this property to anyone visiting St. Thomas.
We did not have one disappointing meal. Bruce and Sue made excellent restaurant suggestions! We had a great time exploring St. John, too, and highly recommend visiting Mongoose Junction for shopping and dining. In our opinion renting a car is a must--it gives you so much freedom to explore when you are not on the gorgeous beach or lying by that incredible pool! Thank you again, Bruce and Sue! We just cannot wait to return!

This condo was breath taking. So neat and clean,there is everything you need here. the view is fantastic,and if you read the other reviews they tell it like it is. We came to get away for our 30th wedding anniversary, also our hectic jobs. As Bruce & Sue said you can just feel the calm come over you when your at the beach, it was never full of people and very peaceful which is just what we needed. The restaurants at the resort are very good best Maih Maih fish I ever ate. There is so much to do here, we went down to the beach and at the info. shack we found all the things we came here to do. We took the BVI boat cruise,Sailing Dinner cruise and the Snorkling Adventure. 3 days of go-go. Then we rested and shopped for everyone back at home. You feel like this is home away from home there. We Hope to return again next year if we can. There is so much more we want to do here. We rented a car which was great also because we came and went as we wished. driving on the left side of the road was very diferent I just had to say a few times stay on the left to my husband but he did good.Dispite the ruff start with the airlines and we lost a day because of them, we had a wonderful time here and the island grew on us each day. Thanks to Bruce & Sue for renting out their condo to us. You have done a outstanding job at making this a very relaxing place to come to. You don't have to be 55+ to enjoy this Island. They even have 2 Kmarts one in TuTu (nice size) Charlotte Emillie(smaller one) The smaller one is great for gifts large selection and just down from it are the locals.

Really Great Location on St Thomas

My wife and I stayed in this property from June 9 through June 16, 2012...and loved every minute of it.
The property is exactly as advertised, nothing was left to chance by the owners, and the photographs of the property are accurate. We recommend it for couples and families with children over age 10. We also suggest your obtaining a rental car, as that will make it easy for your to get around the island.
We hope to return again.

I took my wife to St Thomas as a surprise for her birthday. Since it was close to last minute, I checked all the hotels on the island, but nothing spoke to me. As an avid fan of Homeaway and VRBO, I decided to check. Bruce and Sue were very prompt and responsive to my inquiry. Once I decided, they were quick to send the rental agreement (standard) and even quicker in sending the keys to their lovely place.
Prior to the trip, I rented a car which was well worth the cost. We used the gps on my phone to find the place (AT&T works very well on the island). The resort just in the far south east of the island on a tranquil peninsula. Upon arrival, we had a little difficulty finding the actual condo, but once we took the correct turn, we found it.
The condo is immaculate. A nice view that is partially blocked by a coconut palm, but you can still see the marina/bay. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, utensils, appliances and basic condiments. We did shop at Food Center for our breakfast supplies. The bed is comfortable and big. We never turned on the A/C as there was a nice breeze that came in through the sliding doors. The fans also kept the place cool. We felt very safe on the grounds of the property.
Both restaurants were fabulous. We recommend the conch fritters at Sangrias and the eggs benedict (with smoked salmon or avocado) at the Caribbean Fish Market. Z-wackers (bartender's twist on a bushwhacker) was the drink of choice.
On a day when the winds come in from the east, stay at the resort and skin in cowpet bay. If it is calm, head over to smith bay park/lindquist beach or Magen's bay. Also, make sure to go to Francis or cinnamon bay on St Johns.
The Old Stone Farmhouse, although pricey, is a must. The butcher's block special is amazing.
All around a great time, most of which was advice from Sue and Bruce. Cheers to the two of them!
