My fiance and I have stayed in several apartments in the Sand Castles Resort and this is our favorite. Firstly, the owners Del, Cauldette and Miss Isaccs were friendly and professional. The reservation process was smooth and without any problems. The apartment was clean and well furnished, with a day bed and a comfy couch in the livingroom, as well as a large table with chairs. They also have a new flat screen tv, which my fiance really liked.The kitchen had all of the pots, pans and utencils you need to cook even a large dinner. In the bedroom the AC worked perfectly and the bed was super comfortable and I'm really fussy about that. The sheets were high quality, which isn't always the case in Jamaica.
However the two best features about this apartment are 1.) the veiw from the bedroom and balcony. The beach with it's beautiful sand and swaying palm trees are just a few feet away. I will never forget waking up each morning to the beautiful sea. And 2.) The best part of this apartment is the housekeeper Dorothy. My plane was late and I hate to make people wait, but she was there cheerful and friendly waiting for me. She kept the apartment so clean and cared for while we were there, we never had to ask for towels or sheets, because she was always one step ahead of our needs. She even remembered that it was my birthday midweek and brought me a small gift. Dorothy is just fantastic, friendly, easy going and she I know that she will end up being one of your favorite parts of this apartment too.
So, stop thinking about it and rent this one.
