What a perfect getaway! Your vacation home is in an ideal location to take in all attractions in the Hills. Thank you for having everything and more to make our stay top notch. Your hot tub was a nice way to relax after climbing Harney Peak. Some of our best times included enjoying your home with the scenery and deer “in the yard”! This by far was the best vacation yet enjoyed with my friends from California, Texas and South Dakota. There is so much to do with the bike path nearby, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and of course a visit to the Alpine Inn. We visited Spearfish Canyon too – how beautiful. This visit we treasured and can’t wait to come back again soon! I love your decorating! Definitely a must visit again and a great place to visit year round - would love to see the changes in the seasons!

What a perfect place for my friend and I to celebrate our 60th birthdays! The cottage was so cozy and peaceful and the location could not be better. We would spend our days touring Spearfish Canyon, gambling in Deadwood, shopping at A Walk in the Woods boutique in Custer, and eating fabulous lunches. On the way back to the cottage, we would stop at the nearby grocery store and wineries in Hill City to pick up wine and food for the evening so we could stay in and enjoy the hot tub. The cottage was well equipped and one night we grilled steaks on the outside grill and invited relatives from Rapid City.

We ate at several wonderful restaurtants in the area recommended by South Dakota magazine. One was an Italian restaurant in Rapid City, Botticelli Ristorante. The food and decor were worth the stop and we watched the ice skaters on the new Main Street Square across the street. Another restaurant was the Alpine Inn in Hill City. The restaurant is best known for their single-item dinner of bacon wrapped filet mignon served with baked potato, Texas toast, and a lettuce wedge with homemade ranch dressing, but we decided to try their lunch of German food and other sandwiches after shopping in the antique store across the street. We were not disappointed; everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage, the amenities, and the location offer the Perfect Get-Away for anyone!

This was the perfect location for our trip which included 3 couples. We brought our ATVs and found great trails very near the cabin. The scenery from the trails was amazing and the hottub at the cabin felt great after hours of riding. We were also very close to all the attractions in the area. We enjoyed Hill City and bought a picture at the John Crane gallery.

The cabin had everything we needed to be very comfortable with plenty of space for the six of us. The large dining table was perfect for playing cards in the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Great location - situated near Hill City in centre of all that Black Hills has to offer. Cabin itself is spacious and comfortable. It is situated in a small development of similar properties - they are well spaced out with plenty of room. Great place to come back to after our hectic days out. Saw the deer a couple of times - wonderful sight. Loved the Black Hills and the cabin.

Wow - this place is nice!! I really enjoyed my visit to your great getaway. It sure has character and I love that it is centrally located from all area attractions. Very comfortable, clean and roomy with everything you need right there and more!! The hot tub was nice to use and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery with deer in site. It was fun to ride bikes on the close trails also. Very nice!!
