I recently stayed at this amazing home with a group of girlfriends from all over the country. It isn't too far from the airport (about 15 minutes) and it was such a perfect location for everything we wanted to do. The beach is literally right outside - and the rooftop deck has a fullsize dining room table - it was our favorite spot to hang out. We didn't get a chance to use the grill but it looked REALLY nice so I would definitely recommend doing that. On one of the days, we toured San Diego and spent time one evening down in the Gaslamp Quarter, and the location of the house is great. Such an amazing spot to come home to.
The house itself was beautiful. Everything is updated and it really feels like home. The pictures hardly do it justice. The logistics of renting the home were so easy. No keys needed, everything is automated with a code. And the instructions are spot on. Wifi signal was strong throughout the house and having 3 floors with 3 full bathrooms was amazing. No one was waiting to take showers or feeling crowded.
I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful spot on the beach!

Our family stayed at this home for a week in October. We loved the house. First, the house itself is incredible - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-stocked. Second, the house is just a few feet from the ocean-side beach. Lots of toys-rode bikes and played in ocean with boogie boards every day. LOCATION is perfect--just off the boardwalk--awesome views and privacy. Close to tons of restaurants and shopping. We can't WAIT to return.

Fabulous house on in Mission Beach! Our visit was a week long vacation getaway. Hassle free, immaculate property with all of the amenities advertised. Steps from the beach boardwalk, short walk to many great restaurants and entertainment. Great for families or couples. We will definitely plan on returning.

With all the comforts of home, this spacious property is perfect for families. Those without a car will enjoy the proximity of restaurants and shopping -- and using the fun bikes provided! For tourists with a vehicle (or two) the large garage eliminates parking hassles.

The location is just as described, only yards from the beach/boardwalk. For a change of pace, you can also head inland a few blocks to the bay. We had a great time walking and cycling in either direction. One of our favorite activities was sharing tasty take-out on the 3rd floor deck. Sun, a gentle breeze and stunning ocean views... so peaceful.

If you plan a stay at this vacation rental, you can plan on making great memories too!

I really enjoyed my stay at your place, it was very comfortable and clean and well maintained. Also how great is that having the ocean to view as I sipped my wine. It was nice that all the good restaurants and shops were in walking distance from your place. I enjoyed touring about on your bike on the boardwalk and walking the beach. What a beautiful place to have vacation. Definitely will want to come back and will be recommending your place to my fellow Canadians.

This house was everything my family had wanted in a vacation rental and more! We were a family of 7 with a10 month old and it worked out great for everyone! The views were amazing from every patio and you could tell the house was very well kept! The owners were very prompt in getting back to me and helping me with all of my questions. Defiantly someone who I would want to rent form again, in fact my family & I can’t wait to return! They helped make our vacation perfect!!!

Our family of five adults stayed at Rick and Patty’s Tangiers property during Christmas week 2011. This is a wonderful property close to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. With a bedroom on each of the three floors, everyone had their own private space. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and is open to the dining and living rooms making for a great gathering place for the entire family. There is an ocean view from many of the windows and balconies and the huge roof-top deck is a real bonus. Having a two car garage large enough for our minivan and our daughter’s car was also great.

We have spent Christmas in Mission Beach for the last five years, and this property by far has been the best. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we will be renting it again for Christmas 2012.

My family has stayed on Mission Beach for a week every summer for almost 20
years. Of all the places we have rented, this home was the best! The
location is so good. A coffee cafe is right across the street. It is within walking distance of Ralph's and two smaller markets. Some of our favorite restaurants, Saska's, World Famous and Guava Beach, are nearby. Baked, the cinnamon roll shop, is a few blocks away, but if you are looking for a really good sit-down breakfast, Olive's, The Mission, and The Boardwalk are nearby. If you don't feel like walking, hop on the bikes!

Now on to the house itself. We easily parked two vehicles in the garage. The
codes to the garage and doors worked well and we didn't have to be bothered with keys. We entered the house on the first floor which was used by the four 20-25 year olds in our group. They liked having their own bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator. A large sliding door lead to a nice patio area.

When we went up the stairs to the kitchen/living room area, we were pleased to
see it was just as light and bright as the lower area. We had plenty of
seating for all 9 of us and the outdoor deck was great for grilling.

Everything was very well kept up and quite clean. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area were well-stocked with everyday supplies. The bedroom and bathroom on this floor worked out well for my brother and sister-in-law. They had a nice breeze through the rooms.

A large, open master bedroom and bathroom take up the top floor. We so loved
the nice breezes coming through the windows and doors. The large deck off of
this area was amazing. We spent so much family time at the large table there.
The view of the ocean was terrific and we had great seats for the Sea World
fireworks every night.

The beach itself is right there, just a quick walk past 2 other properties, up
over the sea wall and you are on the sand. This area of the beach is not occupied by locals visiting the beach, just those staying in homes nearby, so it is not crowded. If you need anything once you are planted in the sand, it's easy to go back and get it.

Directions for using the tvs, the bike locks, the internet, etc. were
helpfully provided. Plenty of books, magazines, and games were available. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and sand toys were
also available for use.

We can't wait to go back!!
