Nestled in the private community of Towamensing Trails (town of Albrightsville, PA), this Pocono vacation get away is near to it all and has everything you need provided. Nearby attractions include: Camelback, Jack Frost, and Big Boulder ski resorts, White water rafting, historic town of Jim Thorpe, Pocono Raceway, Crossing Shopping Outlets, several state parks, plenty of restaurants and pubs, and plenty of other great attractions for the outdoor enthusiasts. Or, stay home and relax in your private retreat, getting away from it all.

Features:

Three bedrooms (optional fourth), two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area, two outdoor decks, game room, spacious backyard with privacy from neighbors.

Detailed Layout:

Kitchen: Standard appliances including Dishwasher. Toaster, Blender, Griddle, and all needed flatware, pots/pans, and utensils provided. Dining area seats six comfortable with room for additional two people at kitchen counter

Living Room: Internet TV Flat Screen (can stream Netflix) w/ Surround Sound Speaker system, fireplace, comfortable couch, sofa, and recliner. Over 100 DVD movies provided. (Children friendly movies provided)

Master Bedroom: (Upstairs) Queen bed, TV w/ DVD and VCR, Private bathroom, access to computer (Mac) for internet and printer

Bedroom Two: (Downstairs) Queen bed, Small TV w/ VCR

Bedroom Three: (Downstairs), Full bed

I would highly recommend this clean and cozy house. The property is exactly as advertised and maybe even a little nicer.

The owner, Sean, is sincerely interested in making sure you have a nice stay. He was very helpful in learning about the area, left us a complimentary bottle of wine, and was kind and forgiving when we broke a glass.

The location is terrific. It's such a short drive to skiing at Big Boulder; it feels like it's practically around the corner. The skiing there isn't amazing if you're used to the Western U.S., but as a spot as close as the Poconos, it's a lot of fun. All the groceries you could need are not far away either. There are plenty of other activities also nearby though we pretty much occupied ourselves with hiking, skiing, and cooking.

We chose this place over others partly because it was significantly cheaper, but it turned out to be even nicer than the others! We definitely hope to come back.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We are continually upgrading our house so our guest have an enjoyable stay like you did. The wine we left actually came from a local vineyard in Saylorsburg (about 20 min away) where my wife and I actually got married in October 2007.
