Whether you're into motorsports, golf or ocean beaches - or just looking to get away for some rest and relaxation - our Daytona Beach home is right for you. This comfortable and well-cared for home is in the quiet and attractive Ocean Dunes Neighborhood. The beach is just a few minutes walk: three houses to the corner of South Atlantic Avenue (Route A1A), cross the street and you're there! About a five-mile drive to the Daytona Airport and the Daytona International Speedway. For bikers, only a mile or two to Main Street or Beach Street. Approximately a 75-minute drive to Orlando International Airport and Disney World. Daytona's Ocean Convention Center and the Bandshell Oceanfront Park Complex with movie theaters are approximately two miles. Many golf courses are within short driving distance. Walk or drive to the many restaurants and other attractions all along A1A.

Great Beach House

WONDERFUL: This home was all we needed to enjoy our vacation. It is so neat, bright and nicely furnished that we got that at home comfy feeling right away. Everything we needed was there. The location is just terrific, so close to the beach, boardwalk, Daytona Speedway, mini golf, go cart rides, marine sanctuaries, and other attractions we took the grandkids to. I really enjoyed the bikes provided and rode with my grandson almost every day. The front porch and grassy backyard were great for relaxing after after a day of "vacationing". We hope to be able to come back next year. Thanks Patty and Ed for letting us share your cozy beach house.

Bike Week 2013 in style!

From the greenest lawn on the block to the very cozy leather furniture, this is an extremely clean and functional vacation rental. Just a couple hundred feet from Atlantic avenue then the ocean. Very quiet area even though we were there for 2013 Bike Week. The walk back to the home from Main Street, where the party is, seemed like 20 / 25 minutes. Although the garage area is usually off limits, because the owners have a vehicle there, Patty and her husband had removed it as to provide us with a safe and secure parking spot for our $25k Ducati motorcycles. So, with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one being in the master suite, you would have to say that there is nothing else one would need. To sum it up, amazing! We will be back.
P.S. The chocolate chip cookies and bottle of Sangria delivered to us during our stay pushed it over the top.

Lovely Home, Wonderful Vacation

My son & I met my sister here for a wonderful spring break. This home was so comfortable we felt like we could just move right in. The neighbors were wonderful, we made a couple of new friends while staying here. We were less than a block away from the beach and far enough away from the "attractions" that we were able to enjoy some peace & quiet but close enough to go enjoy them at our leisure. I also want to recommend Captain Steamers Oyster Bar, right on the corner of Wisteria and Atlantic. The food is good, the atmosphere is fun and the people are friendly. It's a fun family hangout. We will definitely be returning in the future to both this lovely home and Captain Steamers.

Truly a home away

This house was the perfect place for me and my family to enjoy a great vacation. The house is very quaintly decorated, clean, and everything in working order. We were very comfortable with the space and felt as if it could be a home away from home for us. The beach is very close, easy and safe to walk to, and the neighbors were very friendly. This house also had internet, and plenty of tv's to watch march madness. Our new favorite place, cant wait to come back.

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME. Patty, We had an AWESOME time and cant wait to come back. Jessica is great. The house is Great. It has a great location. If anyone wants a great vaction location and dont want the hastle of being in the middle of crowds but close enough to all the action this is the place.

A Little Gem

As I said in my previous review of this property when we stayed at the house last year we would definately come back again - and we did this year.
We were lucky enough to be able to book the house again for this year's holidays and having stayed here last year and it was so good that we came back again. It was just as before - perfect.
The house was clean and tidy - well maintained. Has a BBQ available if wanted. It was a little bit warm in July for a BBQ but if you are travelling at a cooler month it would be fantastic.
The house was just as comfy as remembered. Has everything you need to make for the perfect holiday.
Beach chairs/towels etc. available if you want to catch a few sun-rays on the beach which is a 2 minute walk from the house.
This time we used the cruisers (bikes) provided and took a cycle along the beach to the Pier.
We also had a little more time to enjoy the front porch more. Sitting out in the evenings, cooling off from the sea breeze - total relaxation.
We were here again for the Daytona 400 Nascar race and the house could not be better for getting to the track. Any race fans coming for Nascar, this would be the perfect location for your stay. We parked across from the race-track at the Volusia Mall and were back at the house within 30/35 minutes.
Want to say a big thanks to Patty. As like last year she made the whole experience so easy.
Not sure when we will be able to come back again as its a long distance from Ireland but if we are we will defintely stay again for the third time !!!!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for the wonderful review, Barbara! I sure hope you come back a third time, and when you do, I'll have to tell you a quicker way to get to the race track. Thirty-five minutes seems like an awfully long time. Not being a race-goer, I'm not sure if maybe that's just how slow the traffic is for that event, but maybe I just have to show you ways to avoid the ISB. I always try to avoid that road when I go out that way, because it's always busy. Race fans that you are, I'm thinking maybe you will come back a third time. Third time's a charm. Thank you again.
