Comfortable and affordable!

I stayed at this property with 3 friends for a girls getaway. We had a wonderful time. The apartment is clean and well kept, and comes with a washer and dryer! Walgreens and supermarket are close by for supplies. Balcony is lovely with a wonderful view! Condo complex is quiet, didn't experience any of the loud partying that other reviewers wrote about. Go to joyuda for nice seafood restaurants, locals ride their horses to bars in the area! You MUST visit playa sucia and el faro (the lighthouse). I've been to Puerto Rico many times and this by far is the most beautiful beach I've seen there. Rental car is a necessity. Maria was attentive and accommodating. Overall a wonderful and very affordable stay.

Private little beaches right in front of us!

Excellent value for the lovely location right in front of the beach. No noise, completely safe (as all of Puerto Rico in my experience) and a short drive to Wallgreens, great breakfast sandwiches and so many other beautiful towns! This apt. is in the perfect "center" location to drive up all the West coast and South West Coast... and even the center mountains in West PR. It is also away from it all if you already explored Puerto Rico, and just want to spend your day in a calm, small and transparent perfect little beach. We recommend you plan to arrive in the daytime. My husband and I had a great time in Cabo Rojo; and driving around all the beaches and towns of the South West Coast of Puerto Rico and will keep coming back!

Great Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay. Directions to the apartment were great. The beach is right there and "attractions" within close driving distance. The supermarket is about 5-10 minutes away, so if you forgot to bring something from back home, there's plenty of places to pick up what you need. The power did go out, but that was expected and not the owner's fault. The pools were great. Communication with Maria was fantastic. Everything was clean and the washing machine came in very handy.
It does get a little noisy at the beach on the weekend but if you have the AC running, it's not really an issue. If you want complete quiet, this may not be the place for you. We're from NY, so noise is not an issue for us.
The apartment is highly recommended.

Amazing time at the beach!

This vacation apartment has a great view! I will always remember that special feeling of waking up and watching the sea from the master bedroom---that is absolutely priceless (and the daily rate is very good compared to other places). This apartment has everything you need, in excellent conditions and is exactly in front of the beach. The property manager is very friendly. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to return soon. Cabo Rojo is amazing! :-)

Real Front Beach Apartment

Staying in this apartment was the best deal. This is a real front beach apartment. It was nice to wake up every with the sound of the sea and the wind. We have some friends that stay in another property, paid more/night and the apartment was not even at walking distance from the beach. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, so you will have no surprises. It was perfectly clean and everything was weorking perfectly. The property manager was great. I saw the previous review and I cannot agree at all (those people are crazy). I would definitely recommend this place. I will return.

Cabo Rojo 2 Bedroom apartment

The listing description was accurate regarding most things. The apartment was clean, toaster was broken.
This apartment is on the 3 floor of a 4 story building and was mostly quiet until Friday night, then the people upstairs started moving furniture for hours. We complained the first week, then didn't bother calling again. We where there for 6 weeks, this happened every weekend and we ended up going to Ponce and San Juan most Saturdays.
The little terrace actually looks down upon a parking lot/boat launch area, that on the weekends fills up with cars with hugh speakers, families with grilling equipment and radios and boat trailers.
I also wrote the managing agent inquiring about renting Kayaks, that email was apparently ignored.
Very difficult to find fresh fish and vegetables. Nearest fish store was in Puerto Real with only 4 kinds of fish, conch and spiny lobsters. Restaurants in Joyuda were very poor.
We did find a very beautiful beach about 20 minutes away at the lighthouse. The weather was pleasant, however I would not recommend this property.

In fact, we have received many great property reviews and thank you emails for our service. We are very sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied. Honestly, we wish you would have told us while you were there, for us to try and make it better for you.
Cabo Rojo is home to amazing beaches and it is widely known for great fresh seafood. In nearby Joyuda there are 3 miles of the best seafood restaurants in Puerto Rico with great views; some have earned Golden Fork and Golden Plate Awards. Puerto Rican cuisine has a unique tasty blend of different influences and it is well seasoned, so it may be a little different than the food you usually have. Puerto Real’s fishing village is the best place to buy fresh fish, and you will find a bigger variety during early mornings.

Usually guests will inform us during their stay if they need us to replace anything that breaks, and we replaced it right away. About the kayak rentals, we answered your email with the information you requested, maybe you didn’t receive it. Kayak rentals are available at Joyuda, Boqueron and Combate beaches. Also, in the QP Magazine provided at the apartment there is a listing of all the companies offering kayak rentals, as well as other water sports rentals and recreational activities in the area, among other information. Cabo Rojo was amazing! This place was perfect for the money. I felt like I was getting 4 star service before and after I got to the island. The owners manager was truly worth all the money herself. She was always a phone call or email away. The view from my patio every morning made us feel apart of the island all week. This unit has two bed rooms and a fully equipped mini kitchen and AC in each room and plenty of fans and all that you need to feel right at home. If you are a beach lover and like exploring, there is a lot to see Boqueron and La Playuela were awesome and all within within a 30 min. drive. When I come back to PR this will be my location. My whole family loved it. My daughter turned 13 and she said this was the best birthday ever!

This apartment is located footsteps away from a beautiful beachside bay. The balcony is the perfect place to sit and have coffee in the morning - great bird watching. It was wonderful listening to the waves lap on the shore at night...along with the coqui frogs! I was there in mid-March and was able to leave the windows open at night (good screens to prevent mosquitoes from getting in). The apartment is gated and I felt very safe while there.
Cabo Rojo is a wonderful town on the west side of the island...not far from scenic beaches, beautiful drives and lots of yummy seafood restaurants. If you stay here, you would definately need a car...these are not walking distance from the apartment. However, you are close enough to everything and still feel like you are in a more secluded area of the island. I was there for work and drove much of the island...this area was one of my favorite places by far...best beaches here too.
A few things...I had a couple issues with the plumbing while there and the building next door was going through some major renovation, thus a bit noisy early in the mornings during the week. However, Maria, the apartment manager, and the owners were MORE than helpful to accommodate these inconveniences. They were very responsive and handled everything very quickly and professionally. The communication was good between all of us and it was very nice having Maria nearby to help with everything! I hope to have the opportunity to visit the island again and stay here!

Beautiful panoramic views. The apartment is located in front of the beach in a very quiet area. Close to the best seafood restaurants you can imagine and less than 1 hour from the best surfing beaches in the Caribbean. Clean, affordable & friendly & sharp service from owners & property manager.
