This is a beautiful house in a great part of San Diego. Very private, and Annelie was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended, and very relaxing atmosphere.

What a wonderful week! Thank you to Annelie for the warm welcome, responsiveness and beautiful home. It was a great home away from home for our whole family. The house was comfortable, attractive and spacious. The outdoor patio was amazing! It was a convenient location for all of our day excursions and a treat to just walk down the street for morning coffee.

I live in La Jolla and had family coming from New Zealand and the UK to accommodate so worked with Annelie and chose her property so we could all be within close proximity of each other. We had 6 adults, a toddler, 3, 4 and 7 year old in the property and it comfortably accommodated all. Memories I will take with me from the property include sunsets and barbeques on the back patio, games of soccer and cricket on the front lawn, watching football in HD on an enormous TV, 5 minute strolls to cups of coffee and coastal vistas. The place has absolutely everything you could ever want in a vacation property and if I was to do it all again I would not change a thing.

My family and I (3 Adults, 3 Children (8yr,7yr & 3yr) just spent 7 days staying at this property. The listing accurately reflected our experience and the home was well maintained. Annelie has thought of everything you could possibly want for a relaxed holiday and was very helpful in giving us an introduction to the area. The house has plenty of space. For the chlidren there is a soccer goal in the front garden, a Wii indoors and a number of beaches nearby. The kitchen is well stocked with the items you need and the comfort of the home is of a very high standard. There was nothing better than enjoying a drink or meal with the family while on the large back patio as the sun sets over the horizon. We had a wonderful time and the suburbs around the area are great for walking and exploring. Seeing the seals at Children's Pool was a highlight and the cafe's and restaurants nearby offer many choices. The home is an easy drive to Downtown San Diego yet far enough away to enjoy a relaxing quiet time in a loverly area. Definitely would recommend this property to our friends and colleagues if they are heading to San Diego.

We live in Phoenix, and this was our first time in San Diego with my family from England. We could not have picked a better house for location, room and cleanliness. We have used VRBO twice before for vacations in San Francisco and Queens, New York and they were not clean! I would like to commend Annelie and Jay for not charging extra for Comic-Con week. Most of the VRBO rentals that I checked out charged extra and in some cases almost double for the Comic-Con annual convention. So "hats off to you" both! This is THE place to stay.

Annelie and this house are truly amazing. Now living in the midwest, my family and I are originally from an area about an hour from San Diego. We were in town for a wedding and I booked this house more than a year in advance. We were not disappointed. Every ammenity you can imagine is provided. The house is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Annelie is a tremendous hostess and was available for any issue that arose. Since we had not been to San Diego for 7 years, this house was perfectly located to go to the beach, Balboa Park, Sea World, Disneyland and all of our favorite eateries. We wanted to make sure that we experienced in one week what we used to experience all of the time. The house accommodated 6 adults and 2 children all week, with my brother and sister-in-law arriving on our last weekend. There is no way we could have stayed in a better house or in a better location. While San Diego vacations are not yearly for us, the next time we vacation in San Diego, we will make sure to come back. Truly awesome.

This home really is a home away from home. It was very clean and well maintained. The photos simply cannot capture the charm of this home, or the size. There were 8 adults in our party and we had plenty of room to spread out. The patio was great! And the kitchen and laundry were stocked with all the basics. Located in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of shops and eateries within walking distance.
This home is furnished with everything you could possibly want. Annelie is an amazing hostess. We really felt at home here. It was a positive experience in every way!!

We escaped the unbearable Texas heat in August and stayed ten wonderful days in this lovely home. We had more than enough room for our three boys and we even had enough room for the grandparents to visit for a couple of days. The boys loved playing in the front yard grass and my wife and I enjoyed quiet evenings on the back patio - grilling, drinking wine, and watching the sunset. Annelie is a great host ... my wife did some painting while we were there and Annelie agreed to mail it to us once it dried. All in all we would highly recommend staying here.
