Splendid experience at Shipwatch in Wild Dunes!
We were absolutely delighted upon arrival at Wild Dunes and even more so upon opening the door to the Villa. It was spacious, clean and the decor was pleasing to the eyes. We were also satisfied to learn that all the accommodations and amenities were included, as described. We traveled with our 6 and 8 year old who just as much enjoyed the close proximity of the pool and beach as well as strolls on the property. We opted for dining on Sullivan's Island which is just a short drive away and offers tasty variety. I highly recommend this beautiful Villa and hope we can return every year. Thank you for your kind hospitality, Mr. Jernigan.

Relaxing Place
Stayed last week of Feb 2011 for a getaway trip to Charleston. Condo is on the 1st floor which is actually a flight up the stairs, or take the elevator that is right outside the room. Place is clean & neat with nice furniture & accommodations. My wife loved the recliner! Kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need except the food. Wireless internet service is free, but a bit slow.
Great wide beach. Wild Dunes is a good place to ride bikes with paths everywhere. Shipwatch complex has a small playground on site for children. Wake up in the morning, go out on the balcony, sit down & relax with a cup of coffee & listen to the waves & be glad you rented this place!

Wonderful accomodations and location!
We stayed at this condo in February 2011 and found it to be excellent.
Extremely close to the beach with a partial ocean view, you could hear the surf from the living room & master bedroom and you could even watch the waves roll in from the balcony. The condo was large and very well furnished . . . 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and fully equipped kitchen. All of the furnishings and decor were up to date and in great condition. I would highly recommend this place and already have recommended it to our friends and family.

Sept is a good time for Isle of Palms
We ended up picking Shipwatch and this villa because of the kids pool and how close it was to the beach and once we arrived at Wild Dunes we discovered that it was even better than expected. It was a very tranquil to walk the paths in Wild Dunes and everything was so beautiful (as was the villa). We plan on making more vistis to Isle of Palms (and Wild Dunes) as our daughter grows up.

Had a great weekend, though the weather temperature turned a little cool on Saturday. The facility was top notch. It was a little too cool for the pool, but the area looked beautiful. Will try to return when the weather turns warmer
