Wow, that really sums up this place!! I just stayed at this condo with friends for a birthday weekend in May. The downstairs is very spacious, just looking at the pics of the living room, I was concerned about the size and comfortability.. Well upon opening the door I was shocked, it's huge. Full of great local art, and a huge television framed into the wall, plus pleanty of seating for atleast 10. The downstairs bedroom is a fair size, (I believe a kingsize bed) and the downstairs bathroom is fantastic, huge shower and plenty of space for all the essentials. The kitchen is not huge, but is well kept and has great countertops and applainces, plenty big for any length of stay. The balcony is the main focal point besides the entire upstairs, yes there is also an upstairs.. The balcony is huge, we had several friends that also stayed in N.O and stopped by. Besides the fantastic table and chairs, the large window sills serve as 4 more seats. The hanging plants were fantastic, a great touch without being in the way. Plus the large ceiling fan was perfect for warm May days. The views are ridiculous, to the left was Royal St. and on most days you could see ships rolling down the Miss. River. To the right, literally 200ft, was Bourbon St. Now to the upstairs, a gigantic bedroom with sky lights, television, an old fashion mirror and sit-down area for the ladies to get ready. 2 large closets, one being a walk-in. The upstairs bathroom is wonderful, a large jacuzzi tub, his n her sinks, a steam shower and all the space for a small army. Also sky-lights in the bath, nice stained glass window and plants for accent. The location of this condo can't be stressed enough, it is in the heart of the quarter, btw Royal n Bourbon, close enough to the action, but also couldn't hear a pin drop when the balcony doors were closed. The streetcar, French Market, Frenchmen St, Jackson Square, were all within walking distance 10-15 mins at most. Staying at this condo really enabled us to see everything in N.O. From restaurants in the garden district to great Jazz bands on Frenchmen St. We even took a quick cab to the Bayou Boogaloo. You literally need to bring yourself, clothes, and maybe do a little shopping for food. Cathy you are the best, she provided everything else. Towels, linens, pillows, cable tv, wifi, plates, cups, cooking wear, anything one could think of. I honestly can't come up with even 1 tiny complaint about this place, other than the fact that I don't own it myself...
