We're looking for a long term (3+ months), or annual tenant.

The Royal Boudoir is a luxurious oasis where you can feel pampered and spoiled like royalty. Step off the cobbled side walks and enter though the antique French doors to your own private oasis filled with antiques, gilded mirrors and polished silver. Attend classes, art openings, film festivals, writer's conventions, Galas, Mardi Gras Parades and balls, or the opera! Stroll along the river, enjoy cafe au lait and beignets at the Cafe' Du Monde, have breakfast at Brennans, Lunch at Irene's, and dinner at K Pauls near Jackson square. Walk to some of the best restaurants in the country. Ideal for artists, writers, snowbirds,students, or anyone seeking an extended stay in a beautifully furnished, centrally located refuge in New Orlean's famous F.Q.

Availability: Sorry, but the Royal Boudoir has NO AVAILABILTY UNTIL June 15, 2013 !. Our wonderful repeat guests just keep coming back and they stay for months! As you might imagine, we greatly appreciate our special returning guests, who are now like our family, and come and stay for months on end, at our little get-away in the Quarter.

Parking: A French Quarter residential guest parking pass is available to those guests who are bringing their car.

We bought the Royal Boudoir over 10 years ago so that I could have my own artist studio in the French Quarter and so that we would have a place to stay when we drove in to New Orleans from our home on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for festivals, the symphony, to visit the zoo as a family, or just to enjoy a really good meal. Now that the kids are grown, we find that we travel more (our travels to fascinating places all over the globe these past few years have included Tibet, China, India, France, Germany, Italy, hiking the Inca trail to Macchu Picchu, and quick scuba diving jaunts to the carribean). Therefore, we're able to share the Boudoir with a small handful of repeat guests who come and stay for months. Please join our family of guests who stay at the Royal Boudoir when they come to the romantic French Quarter.

We have also had few guests who simply were considering New Orleans as their new home, and have had an extended stay, getting to know our beautiful city.

A French Quarter Dream

I had the distinct pleasure of staying in The Royal Boudoir for a few weeks in September of 2010. Following my correspondence with Lisa, I already had a great feeling about the property, and from the moment the door was opened, any lingering anxiety floated into the humid New Orleans air.

Friends living in the Crescent City who visited were BLOWN AWAY, making me all the more thrilled with my "Royal" address!

Though nearly everything you would need is provided, there are shops VERY nearby to fill in any gaps. Truly, the convenience of The Royal Boudoir's locations is HARD to beat. (I found out just how true this was when, due to availability, I stayed elsewhere in October!)

I would count myself lucky to be afforded the chance to stay here again.

Light sleepers take NOTE: While the "clip clop" of the horse-drawn carriages going by was music to my ears, the EARLY morning trash trucks were something altogether different. Once investing in ear plugs, however, I soon got all the sleep in that very comfy bed I needed!

MY HUSBAND AND I CAME TO NOLA FOR A 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, AND A FAMILY WEDDING. WE HAS A GREAT TIME STAYING IN THE ROYAL BOUDOIR. IT IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF ALL THE FRENCH QUARTER, AND IF YOU LIKE MUSIC, FRENCHMAN STREET. ( BRING GOOD WALKING SHOES) THE CONDO IS PERFECT!!! LISA HAS THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE A ROOM IN A BOUTIQUE HOTEL BUT WITH THE ADDED ABILITY TO KEEP A SANDWICH, MAKE COFEE, ECT. AND IT FEELS SO PRIVATE. JUST WONDERFUL. WE HOPE TO GO BACK AGAIN , AND STAY AT THE ROYAL BOUDOIR, FRENCH QUARTER NOLA

I stayed at the Royal Boudoir apartment the entire month of August. Lisa, the owner, was a wonderful host who responded promptly to any concern or question I had. The rate is extremely fair, especially for the amenities that you receive - beautifully furnished, air conditioning, gorgeous updated luxury bathroom, fully stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need. Every friend that I brought over couldn't believe what a deal for such a lovely apartment. She really has mixed modern and french very well. The location cannot be beat. It's right on Royal Street towards the quieter end of the quarter. You may even lose sense of time when you hear the carriages and the horses clomping down the street. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and my standards are high.
