Our charming, one bedroom Cottage in Mendocino Village is a restful, private getaway that is Conveniently located in town, just a short walk to restaurants, shops, galleries, beach and Headlands! Our Cottage has an upstairs  bedroom with a queen bed and ocean view. The first floor has a small living room with a queen sized futon, cozy chairs and a comfy dinette. WIFI, Cable TV, video & DVD player are included. We maintain an environmentally friendly abode and frequently receive letters of praise for this very special haven.

Quintisential Mendocino in an excellent village location.

This property was like staying at the home of a well traveled friend. Comfortable and well equipped with eclectic art and books. Nothing fancy. The best part is the location. We didn't get in our car the entire weekend and were able to enjoy fabulous food, shopping and the beach which are all within walking distance. Comfy bed with super soft sheets and towels and a view of the ocean. The reason I give this property four stars instead of five is that it would have been helpful if the description further described that this is actually an water tower and access to the bedroom and bathroom is up a narrow spiral staircase. We were also asked to pay an extra $10/night for a 3rd person which is very reasonable but it wasn't in the listing. Overall, I would recommend this property and am grateful to the owners for making it available.

Incredible accommodation in Mendo

Wow. We are here at this property right now. I am incredibly impressed. The accommodation is in a converted lighthouse. The grounds are stunning, with a small pond, large grassy area, and even a chicken coupe. Although very quiet, the home is literally in the middle of town. We were just steps away from dinner this evening in town. Everything in the home is beautiful and up to date. We are so pleased with this rental!

The town of Mendocino feels like a true getaway. It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere, once you drive the long winding road through the forest to get here. Stunning scenery, organic dining choices, quaint and very small town. We are really impressed.
