What a wonderful weekend we had! Just what our family needed. The condo is absolutely beautiful and it is so peaceful there. The kids loved watching the deer from our deck! The lake was perfect and we really enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend this condo for a great getaway! We plan to visit again in the near future!

Beautiful condo with direct access to this magnificent Ouachita Lake. We anchored our 26 footer and Jet Ski in the cove right in front of the condo. The covered deck was appreciated during stormy evenings and gave a direct view over deer coming every day in the cove. We had 3 teenagers with us and they had a blast. The condo did not have WIFI but we could borrow a router from the resort front desk saving our teenager vacation evenings ;-)
It’s a dry county but you can bring your own bottle of wine to the restaurant if you desire.
In short, it was a very long drive with 2 cars coming from Peoria Illinois but we have not been disappointed and had a great time at Mt Harbor.

Wow, what a perfect condo for a vacation to Lake Ouachita. The condo is absolutely beautiful and the location is GREAT! It is exceptionally clean, large, and decorated in a way that makes one feel " at home"! Cooking was easy because the kitchen is large and well stocked with utensils, plates bowls glasses, pots pans, coffee maker etc....just bring your food ! The pictures and amenities listed on this site are accurate 100 %

Mountain Harbor resort is filled with beauty and the some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. I booked our stay through this site and with Jan, the condo's owner. She was so easy to work with and was always available to answer any questions. Mountain Harbor Resort manages this property so upon check in, they are able to help with anything needed. They called daily just to "check in".

During our 7 day stay, we fished the lake with guide Chris Darby (excellent guide and great with kids), we went jet skiing, and we went swimming at nearby Denby Point. We also swam in the resort pools which were very clean and well maintained.

We flew into Little Rock, rented a car and stayed in Hot Springs overnight (cute city). The next day we drove just 30 -40 minutes to Mountain Harbor Resort. Total driving travel time from the airport to Hot Springs to Mountain Harbor was 1.5 hours...easy.

We had a GREAT time, made some wonderful memories and would absolutely stay here again in the future!

My husband, son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a herd of deer running past our condo! I have never been that close to so many deer. It was an amazing way to start our vacation. Needless to say, my boys were excited about this. The condo itself is so nice and comfortable. We had plenty of room and couldn't have asked for nicer accommodations. The owner, Jan, is wonderful to work with. If we needed anything during our stay it was easy to get from Mountain Harbor Resort. The boys and I spent one day on the lake fishing. Lake Ouachita is a beautiful lake. The next day I stayed on the porch reading on the porch swing while they did more fishing. We hired a fishing guide on the second day and that was the best experience for my son. Chris (our guide) showed Joshua where all the good fishing holes were and what bait to use. In one afternoon my son caught 7 beautiful bass. He was so happy about this and couldn't wait to get back on the lake to try out all the things that Chris had taught him. It was a great vacation for all of us.

This was our first visit to Lake Ouachita, and I dont think we could have chosen a nicer condo with a better location! The condo was beautifully decorated, modern, well stocked, and immaculate. Kitchen was fabulous and the wraparound deck was great for sitting outside early in the morning and late in the evening. There aren't many condos that have lake access right out of the back door but this one did (which was very convenient for 6 women and a partybarge!). There is no dock, but we had no trouble pulling our boat up to shore and leaving it each night. It was also located very close to the boat ramp and convenient to one of the pools and the spa. We would all definitely return again and stay in this condo. In fact, we plan on making this a yearly getaway!

My family and I certainly enjoyed your condo. The condo was clean and well equiped with all the comforts of home. It was perfect for our two teenage sons, my husband and I. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful fall colors surrounding the lake. It was the perfect get away for the Thanksgiving holiday! We enjoyed hikes around the lake, boating and fishing, though, no luck in the fishing department! Jan, you were wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend your unit to others! Thank you for a delightful stay!

The trip was our summer vacation for me, my husband, two boys, ages 11, and 15, and my parents. The accommodations are very comfortable. The location of the condo is a very quiet area with very little traffic; a great place for relaxation. It is also near the spa. The condo can sleep quite a few people, with several inflatable beds available, as well, if needed. Great back porch, although I did wish there was rear access to the lake. The lake is fabulous, nice to be able to keep our boat nearby in the little inlet. Also, the boys were able to go right out and fish when they wanted and still be within eyesight. Kitchen was stocked with every type of utensil, bowl, dish, cup, etc., one may need. Washer and dryer nice to wash towels, although I think you can get clean ones from the office. When we return to Lake Ouachita, we will definitely attempt to lease this unit.
