Oakey Dokey is located in a leafy exclusive cottage park adjacent to the Oakwood Inn Resort Spa and golf course.

The cottage is a short walk along a quiet lane to Oakwood's private sandy beach.

The beautifully-maintained home is on two floors.

A large wooden deck stretches around the back of the house from the living area patio door to the master bedroom patio doors - perfect for BBQ's and entertaining.

The four bedrooms and two floors easily accommodates two families, with a formal living area upstairs and an informal one downstairs - perfect for children.

School Year Rental Available: Oakey Dokey is available for rental throughout the school year (September to May) at a rate of $2000 per month (including all utilities).

It is an energy efficient home with a working wood fireplace.

Off season attractions include local spa and pool at Oakwood Resort, golf, cross country skiing, beach combing, local fitness club, library, grocery stores, post office and banks.

Nearby things to do and see...: Walk by road or beach to the town of Grand Bend for food or shopping, restaurants and bars. Walk a couple of short blocks to the Oakwood Inn Spa and Resort for a spa, golf or tennis or talk a stroll along the beach or to nearby Oakwood Resort for a spa, golf, driving range or tennis. Book a night of theater at the local Huron County Playhouse, just outside Grand Bend, at the world famous Stratford Festival in Stratford Ontario or at the Blyth Festival in the town of Blyth, north of Grand Bend. Visit historic Bayfield just 30 minutes north of Grand Bend for a day of shopping or eating.

Wonderful time and lots of space!

Our family stayed with my sister and her family at this wonderful cottage. There was TONS of space on the main floor with the open plan and kitchen, and large pantry. We could walk into downtown, the beach was close, the surroundings lovely. I enjoyed being able to walk to the Oakwood Inn and enjoy the spa services. The bedrooms were clean and as pictured. We had a few comments following our stay and the changes were made immediately. Owners were friendly, accommodating, and close by if needed (we didn't need them, but knew where to get help if w needed it).

We had a fantastic time and would recommend this cottage to our friends and family.

Oakey Dokey cottage was much more than OK!

Our family of 4 plus 2 friends rented the Oakey Dokey cottage for a week in August and had a fabulous time. The cottage had everything that we needed and more. It was much bigger than we thought from the pictures. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to make most of our meals there. Our hostess, Mary Lou was really welcoming and the cottage was spotless when we arrived. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk away and is quite private and beautiful. It is an easy walk to the town of Grand Bend.
The cottage also has a elevator and would be ideal for anyone in a wheelchair or who has trouble wih stairs.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
