Looking for your own little piece of paradise? Look no further!!! Stress and tension will melt away as you relax in this tranquil setting. You will watch awesome sunsets from your private lanai. Gaze out over lush landscapes, golf course greenery, and ocean views in the distance. Enjoy the serenity of this low-traffic, exceptionally quiet area at the end of Ali’i Drive.

1,200 square feet of comfort AND a spacious lanai! This unit is first class in every respect. Completely remodeled in 2009, it has high end finishes and new furniture throughout: bamboo floors, maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, new bathroom fixtures. Everything is sparkly clean and new. The “Contemporary Hawaiiana style” décor connects the open, airy interior with the outside. Dining and living areas face full length sliding glass doors that open onto the spacious 200 sq foot lanai. Grill favorite meals right on your own lanai using the gas BBQ.

Enter the condo at parking lot level. Just walk right into the unit with no stairs to worry about. Your reserved parking space is 50 feet from your front door. Once inside, you’ll see it’s actually a second floor unit with beautiful views overlooking the golf course and palm trees - ocean/horizon views 1/4 mile away. The sunsets from the lanai are magnificent.

Enjoy a 42-inch flat screen TV and DVD player in the living room, as well as a stereo with CD player and iPod docking station.

You'll sleep well on the high quality mattresses - new California King bed in master bedroom, very comfy. And new twin beds in guest room. The large master bath has shower and tub. Large 2nd bathroom across from guest bedroom has glass-surround shower and also houses the full-size washer & dryer. Walk-in closet adjacent to master has plenty of shelving, drawers and cupboards. Attractive ceiling fans in every room and on the lanai keep temperatures pleasant. Beach chairs, towels, mats, and coolers are all provided. Kitchen is fully equipped, even including blender and coffee grinder.

This unit overlooks the 8th fairway of the 36-hole Kona Country Club golf course. The lush grounds are meticulously maintained with beautiful tropical shrubs and flowers. There is a wonderful pool and Jacuzzi on the grounds, and a covered gazebo for outdoor get-togethers.

About The Owner

We live in Seattle and have long felt a special connection with the Big Island and especially the Kailua-Kona area. Over the years, we have rented many condo units from a variety of owners. Those experiences have educated us on what it takes to make a condo vacation easy, fun and comfortable for guests. As relatively new owners, we are now delighted to share this beautiful condo with others.

Why The Owner chose Keauhou

The Keauhou Punahele is the most tranquil place we have stayed in the Kona area. The first time we walked in the door of this unit, we felt relaxed and at home. The recent upgrades to the condo have been skillfully and tastefully done. We love to sit on the lanai at sunset and drink in the changing colors of clouds and sky while sipping our tropical beverages!

What makes this condo unique

A few of our favorite things: The quiet location at the end of the road - last condo complex on Alii Drive going south. Very little traffic and a lot of privacy. Yet less than 5 minute drive to shopping and restaurants. LOVE that we can sit on our lanai and watch birds, golfers, and sunsets.

Worth the trip from France!

Thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful condo. We really enjoyed our stay here, the volcano was a great adventure, the restaurants around were all very good, at least the ones we went to. ;)
The island is simply beautiful whether it's the beaches, the mountains, volcanos, forest...it was everything we imagined it would be and more.
We really hope to be able to come back one day, the sooner the better, not only to this beautiful island but also to his great condo. Mahalo.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at your place and I am already missing it. The location is quiet and the condo itself is a relaxing haven. It is spacious, roomy and well appointed with every amenity you might desire. The condo appears relatively new with all modern kitchen and bath and the beds are both quite comfortable. It has a nice large balcony that is the perfect place for morning coffee or to enjoy a meal. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit the Big Island!

We've just returned, and we all already miss Hawaii terribly, especially your wonderful condo. Every time we needed/wanted something, it was there in the unit, and in large quantities. We've never stayed at any other rental that even approached the degree of care you took in the high-quality furnishings, appliances, and the limitless range of supplies of every kind. Coming back every evening from a day of exploring was always a pleasure, and we cannot thank you enough for making our vacation so perfect.

We had a wonderful time at your home. It was well stocked with utensils and equipment in the kitchen, top line appliances, super storage, easy access with no steps from parking to unit and a great view! We took pictures to use ideas used in this plan for our own renovations. We could be comfortable staying here for a very long time! Thanks so much for sharing your bit of paradise with us!

A beautiful month

We have come to the Big Island every year from Japan. We love this Island. We enjoyed ourselves over fish grilled on your lanai with a beautiful sea view. We played playing golf every day.
