Rented for a week but could have stayed a month, it was that fabulous! I've rented a lot of different vacation properties but this one exceeded all the others. The rooms were huge, comfortable, and clean. Everything was there for us to use and we can't wait to go back to see all our deer friends. We'd awake in the morning to the sound of hoofs on the deck and it wasn't Santa. We took along 25 lbs of shelled corn and it soon disappeared as the deer all but come in the door to be fed!! This is a great vacation place well worth a return visit.

The mountain house was beautiful. The view in each room were breathe taking. We really enjoying watching the animals come to the deck of the house. We had a blast!!

I rented this property Labor Day Weekend with a few friends and had the most Fabulous time! The place is beautiful, with gorgeous trees surrounding this little chalet! It’s so charming, the weather was beautiful, and the rooms were large and roomy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could ever need, and Sharon and AJ were available by phone for any questions we had throughout our stay! There is so much to see and do in the area, just steps away from the Lake!

If you want to roomy, BEAUTIFUL, and CLEAN place to stay, that is up to date and has everything you could ever need - RENT THIS PLACE!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

I spent a weekend here in February with friends and loved this house from the moment I walked in. It has such a cozy, cabin feel and plenty of space for gathering with friends & family. It really felt like home for a few days. We were able to start skiing early each day since 2 major slopes are SO close. My room even had a view of the slopes. We all had breakfast and dinner together each day and relaxed in the great room by the fire after a long day of skiing. There are also good restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store and liquor/wine store--we took advantage of each. I can't wait to go back!

Stayed in this house with my wife and daughter and some friends. A great experience for all of us. Right up the street from the lake where my daughter really enjoyed getting her feet wet and splashing in the water (she was 3).
The house itself was very clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and it really was the perfect size for the 7 of us that stayed there, but we could have stayed there just my family and still felt right at home.
A wonderful stay we very much enjoyed and can't wait to make our way back!

Only 2 hours from New York City, the house is a wonderfully easy retreat.

During the summer time we have enjoyed hiking, golf, the beach, winery tours, and even river tubing, all within an easy drive. In the winter, we have skiied at Big Boulder (a lift ticket is also good for Jack Frost after 3 or 4pm). The house is clean and comfortable - the kitchen is great for preparing group meals, the deck for grilling out and spotting wild deer and turkey, and the living room for hanging out.

I would definitely recommend this house - it's great for couples and for groups. We've filled it with 2-7 people, including children, comfortably.

I've spent time here on multiple occasions, in both the summer and winter. Both times have been a great quiet weekend away. The house is in excellent condition is very close to golfing, hiking, and skiiing as well as the local restaurants and bars. It's not in a crowded development or anything so you really feel like you're off and alone. Great for friends or family (which we've done both). Can't go wrong.

This house is clean, well decorated, and inviting. While in town for business during the day, the relaxing atmosphere of the house made it easy to relax while grilling on the huge porch.

We also enjoyed meeting all of the deer that stopped by to say hello. It appears they like grapes and tortila chips.

AJ was also available for any issues we had which were none. I recommend this house if you want a relaxing stay in the area.
