John was very friendly and helpful.
When we decided on making New York City our destination for this summer, we opted against paying a fortune for the many hotels we’ve found in the city. As fate would have it, we came across this wonderful vacation websit (homeaway.com) which provided us with many alluring and reasonably priced lodging options within the big apple area. We preferred Brooklyn out of the five boroughs and this studio immediately stood out, in addition to the herd of positive reviews this place amassed there was a number where the owner could be reached at which we didn’t hesitate to dial. Our booking process was a breeze! John will disclose anything you’ll need to know prior to filling out the reservation form.
The place, at first, felt smaller than imagined other than that everything is just as pictured, clean and tidy. When John handed over the keys, he didn’t tell us we had the city at our mercy, everything that we needed subways, restaurants, groceries stores …you name it, were at walking distance. Plus, no matter how far away we would venture out finding our way back home …er-erm to that studio we meant ,was very easy : ). The next morning was as though we’ve been living there forever, we didn’t have that where-am-I feeling you usually get when waking up to the naked drywalls of a shoebox hotel room, if anything, we felt like we were late for work.
The Air conditioner however is literally the headboard of one of the two beds and could be very loud; fortunately, the two ceiling fans could be used as cooling system substitutes for a good night sleep. Also, it’s worth noting that this studio is located on the third floor that didn’t bother us however as there were nobody living above us. Either way, that and the A/C situation are small prices to pay for such a conveniently located cozy place. We would recommend it to anyone visiting NYC and craving for a genuine experience there.
