Quiet Wooded Home
We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was not a new home, but was in pretty good shape. I enjoyed the fact that a canoe was provided, and especially the fact that everything you needed to transport it (straps, cushions, etc) was provided as well. We took it out one morning, and had a nice time. The heated floors were pretty neat. It was not cold enough for us to need heating, but I could see where they would be very nice when you did. The location was nice and secluded in the forest. My children enjoyed playing in the yard and woods, and on the small tree fort. A cat came over from somewhere and was very friendly. My kids enjoyed playing with it in the yard everytime they went out.
Will have to be honest in my and include that the water pressure was not the best. It was fine if you only had one thing running, but if you were trying to take a shower and anything else was on, even a sink or toilet filling, the water pressure dropped very low.
Acadia NP was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits there each day. It was very nice being on the island and not having to fight traffic coming in or out of the one road. We noticed that traffic was backed up quite a bit on the bottleneck coming onto the island when we did have to use that road.
Over all it was a great experience. Thank you.
