Our stay at Andrew's and Steph's place in SF-Castro was fantastic! Great and quiet location just a few steps away from the pulsing neighbourhood of Castro with great shops, cafes, bars and public transport to downtown and the bay area.The place was just like in the pictures, super clean & cosy with everything there you might need. Andrew & Steph are perfect hosts, friendly and very helpful! They made es feel very welcome and provided us with personalized guides to restaurants, cafes, sightseeing and food stores. Staying here definitely made our stay in San Francisco a memorable one. We highly recommend this spot if you're coming to town!

We spent one week in August at one of the Jurinka appartments in San Francisco. We had the appartment without balcony, but we were able to sit outside in the backyard and enjoy the sun. Our appartment had enough space for two adults to feel relaxed and enjoy vacation. There is a comfortable couch, TV, a nice kitchen and a clean bathroom, too. The owners are very friendly and helpful with every kind of information like what`s nice to see, where to get BART tickets etc. In the garage, there is a washing machine and a dryer for everybody. For extra money, the garage is to rent as well. In the neighborhood, there are also a few parking spots on the street. The location of the appartment seems very safe and is just a few minutes to go down town to Castro Station. A supermarket is very close to the appartment as well. If we are going to visit SF sometime again, we would surely ask for availability again. Greetings from Germany :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, which was exactly as advertised. It is well maintained, comfortable and well equipped, and has plenty of character. The owners are helpful and flexible, and provided useful information on the immediate area and San Francisco as a whole. The location is excellent, with everything you need to hand (supermarket, pharmacy, transport, places to eat and drink etc.) We particularly enjoyed visiting Castro theatre, and exploring the local area and further afield on foot. I would recommend this property without hesitation!

We stayed here the first week of June and cannot think of anything bad to say about this property or the location. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully furnished and maintained. The location is very conveniently located with restaurants, groceries, etc. within a couple of blocks and very easy access to public transportation. There is a restaurant two blocks away, Thai House Express, that had some of the best Thai food I've had since living in Thailand. There are also Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, American, and many other types of eateries within easy walking distance. There's a small health food store and a larger grocery store within a couple of blocks.

The communication with Andrew was prompt and clear and he and Steffi were helpful and hospitable. There are laundry facilities on the property which is helpful during a longer stay. We would gladly stay there again and would recommend this property to any couple or single. There is also a larger unit on the same floor that could accommodate a larger family. I can honestly say that the convenience and comfort of this property really enhanced our enjoyment of our first trip to San Francisco. Thanks!!!

We enjoyed our studio so much that we were ready to move in permanently. Andrew and Stefi made our stay very enjoyable & were there to answer any questions that we had. They paid attention to all details such as olive oil in the kitchen for cooking. The kitchen was amazing & all the appliances were great. The location was perfect for getting around the city & no car was needed as mass transit was readily available outside our door. Our short walks up to Kite Hill made for amazing views of the city, just as good (or better) than Twin Peaks.

After I convinced my parents to come west for the holidays, we decided that they needed something more "home-like" than a hotel - Andrew and Steffi provided exactly that, and more! After looking at a few other vacation rentals, this place stood out not only as far as cleanliness, amenities, and location, but the owners' willingness to go above and beyond to make my parents' stay as care-free as possible.

Case in point, my mother did NOT want to have Christmas dinner at a restaurant. This was not a problem, as the kitchen was well-appointed and Andrew and Steffi made sure that we would have a table and chairs available to set up for the evening. That is to say, they despite it being a studio, they worked with us to make the space as flexible as possible. I could not have asked for more, and my parents are already wondering when they might come back to visit.

I stayed here during the first weekend of December 2010 and found this wonderful affordable unit in the Castro to be clean and bright (just like the pictures), and very comfortable. Cozy, yet roomy, it was such a perfect size for a lone traveller like myself. Located just a block away from the eateries and transportation in a quiet residential area, it made for easy living in my short stay there. It was a short walk up to Kite's Hill where I took fantastic pictures of the city. Down the street was Queen Malika, a wonderful crepes place to have breakfast, and just a block further was Zapata Mexican Grill, where I tasted THE best agua di sandia (watermelon drink). I rented a car for a few days and I easily found street parking. I did have the option to park in their very clean and bright garage but chose the street instead because I spotted an open spot right when I drove down the street.

The beautiful owners, Andrew and Steffi, are amazing, and they were right there when I had questions. Although they were literally right next door, they respected my privacy. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in this area. An excellent place by far!! Thank you, Andrew and Steffi, for making my stay a great one with your hospitality.

My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights in November. The apartment is exactly as pictured in the VRBO listing. Everything appears to be new! The kitchen probably surpasses anything you could find any where else! Never heard any disturbing sounds from either inside or outside of the building. Location, location, location!! Perfect! Close to so many things (large grocery store 1 1/2 blocks away) We used public transportation and found it to be the perfect location for that (is a bus stop accross the street close enough for you?) Our next trip to San Francisco (this was our 6th.), we will be staying there.
