Hana Mana Hale, A home base for adventures. In the middle of great adventures. 70 minutes from Volcano National Park where over 1 million come to view the worlds most accessible active volcano each year. Further east past Volcano, is Hilo, the largest city on the island with many attractions including gardens , waterfalls, heated geothermal pools, and many great beaches. Speaking of beaches, do not forget to ask about our own local secret beach for yet another unforgettable adventure.
To the north, just 20 minutes, is Ho'okena state park/beach where many come to camp out and celebrate local events. Honaunau National Park, just a short distance further, is where the “city of refuge” is being reconstructed. Both offer great beach fun. Many Island guests have heard of the excellent snorkeling at the boat ramp area just outside the Honaunau National Park. A two person Kayak and a one person kayak are available for your adventures on the water. Snorkel gear is available for your use in the water.
Hana Mana Hale is built on a ten acre tropical eco farm. You will learn about tropical farming, what grows in Hawaii and conservation practices supported by the USDA.
