The quaint village-like atmosphere of North Pacific Beach is an easy walk of a few blocks with several nice restaurants, shops and pubs. This home is literally on the border of La Jolla, the well-known destination famous for its dining, beautiful beaches, coves, shopping, museums and galleries. 1 mile up the street is the top of Mt. Soledad for unparalelled views of all of San Diego and Tijuana. The Belmont Park Fun Zone with its historic roller coaster is about 2 miles away. Beautiful Mission Bay is just over a mile away with many options for jet skiing, sailing, boating, biking, roller blading, and of course, Sea World. Many other areas are within 20 minutes, such as downtown San Diego, including San Diego Harbor and the Gaslamp District, world famous Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Littly Italy, Hillcrest, Point Loma, etc. A few minutes more will get you to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, the Cabrillo National Monument, Coronado and the historical Hotel del Coronado.
