When we arrived and opened the front door, I'm sure everyone's jaws dropped!! The property is absolutely amazing! It is spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated and welcoming all at the same time. We were a group of 8 adults and never felt crowded or confined. The weather was even cooperative for our weekend getaway so we were able to spend some time on the decks which would be a major attraction for a summer vacation. The only supplies we had to furnish were shower soap and our own food and beverages. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes with the only thing we wished we had brought being a coffee carafe. There were moldy grounds in the coffeemaker when we arrived and the grill had not been cleaned but we made quick work of that and were able to use both. We were overwhelmed by all the amenities such as the game room, the number of available TVs, etc. We were already talking about "when we come back" before the end of the first night!! Terry and Terrie greeted us with a phone call upon our arrival to make sure we made it ok and to see if we had any questions. They were most helpful throughout the entire process. The girls enjoyed some shopping at the mall and the guys did a little sightseeing on Saturday but for the most part we just enjoyed lounging around the house and having a great time with friends. On our departure on Sunday we had brunch at RJ's in Camdenton and it was very good! This was our first experience with VRBO and I have no complaints. It might be helpful in the review to stress that there are a lot of stairs in case that would be a problem for the renter.

This house was above expectation, when we walked in the front door, three of the six couples said the same thing the " WOW" .... The place was GREAT, furnishings, beds, bedding, towels, kitchen was furnished with everything you need. The views of the sun rise and sunsets were so calming, what a way to start and finish you day of relaxation. The water trampoline was a hit, the dock was a super place to hang out close to the water. The only disappoitment was the game room was small and the beds in there were not good for a couple, all other bed and bed rooms were great. You would not be disapointed if you stay at Lakehouse #2, I recommend it!!!!!

Four families met here for a week as we do every summer and we had a great time in this beautiful house, which looks exactly as it does in the photos. The dock and swimming area are perfect for large groups. The bedrooms and bedding are luxurious, the kitchen ready with all utensils. The kids loved the game room, and spent lots of time there playing pool and watching television. It was too bad that the slot machines in the game room were jammed while we were there, it would have been fun to use them. Activities in the area were close by, like the outlet stores, bowling, mini golf, and Bridal Cave. It was fun to read the guest book and to get advice on services in the area. The owners were in contact with us to make sure that we were having a good stay. All in all, a wonderful week.

We have had several family vacations, but this lakefront home was by far the most fun! We had 8 adults and 9 children from ages 3 to 13 and had plenty of room, even room to spare with bedrooms. We always had a pool and hot tub so I was a little concerned that the kids would miss that. Not a chance! The lake, with the fabulous water trampoline and blast bag, was the hit of our vacation! They had so much room to swim and because they always wore their lifejackets, we were at ease with them in the water.

The home was spotless and beautifully appointed. As our children all know, I am very particular about everything....especially homes. This house far exceeded our expectations in every way! Terrie was such a delight to work with, making our plans so simplified. I always said I wouldn't want to go back to the same house twice BUT this home is my exception! We'll be back and will enjoy our vacation just as much! Thank you Terrie!

If you thought the on-line pictures were impressive...wait until you walk into this beautiful home! All of your stress will instantly melt away. Our family had a wonderful vacation in this home. We can't wait to visit again!

The house was perfect for our needs..13 people ranging from 7 months to 72 years. Kitchen was very well stocked with all required utensiles and cooking gear. Although numerous stairs may be an issue to consider for some elderly and small kids (52 steps from the dock to the upper bedrooms). Great location with easy access to ammenities via boat or car. Fairly heavily traveled channel via boat although excess traffic could have been due to the Shootout (not the quietest weekend but fun to watch the big boats run by). Parking is a bit of a challenge for more than 3 cars (especilly if they are all SUVs) but manageable. Don't plan on parking trailer in driveway though unless you are a very skilled driver. Living room carpet has seen better days though...maybe consider tile througout main area. Also a bunch of spiderwebs and collected debris in the vaulted ceiling; not a big issue but a bit of an eyesore. Fridge on the dock would be a nice touch as nightly "docktails" are a must but involve several trips back and forth to the fridge (see comment on steps). Some type of shade (umbrella or awning) and more chairs on the upper deck would make that area more useful for large groups as well. Zero gravity recliners on the dock are AWESOME!!! All in all very pleased...owners were very consiencious in making sure we had everything we needed. Really appreciated the call on check in!!!

All 3 generations of our family enjoyed our second year to be at Lake House #2. Some of the adult grandchildren are out of state and found our location without any trouble. My greatest joy was sitting on the porch early mornin looking at the beautiful lake. We rented a boat part of our stay so the teenagers were able to water-ski.
The house was in good order and very convient for eating, watching movies, card games and puzzles.
We ate one dinner out at "Baxters" and it was very good.

We had a GREAT time! The house was perfect and the better than expected. We had fun in the water, Jet skiing and hang gliding. Fun on the dock during the day and evenings. Outlet mall, eat in or out. Visit to the Dam. There is something for everyone. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Booking was easy and all my questions were answered. So glad we found this place. We hope to be back again.
