This lovely home impressed me immediately with its stunning views from every room and peaceful quiet all around. Every amenity is available in this high-end renovation, from great cooking kitchen (large gas stove, dishwasher, etc) to enormous walk-in shower, spa tub, sauna, heated floors, towel warmers etc. The spacious rooms have high ceilings and charming details (though not too much decor - I appreciated the minimalist touch) including a kiva fireplace that is well-drafted and large enough for a roaring fire to warm the room nicely. The house is made of traditional adobe construction so it's really well insulated. Good flow for large groups, plenty of space to spread out and find privacy from the group if necessary. Setting is as stunning with views that would rival any Truchas property. As an artist, I found this a terrific retreat where I could get lots of reading, thinking and making done. A fantastic month of beauty, respite, peaceful walks and stupendous sunsets - there was even a full solar eclipse while I was there! Dreaming of that house . . .
