If you're looking for a Puerto Vallarta vacation rental villa right on a white sandy beach you've just found it! Casa Macumba and its guest house can sleep from 8 up to 35 people. Casa Macumba alone can comfortably sleep 22 people all in beds (no cots or pull out sofa beds) and up to 15 more in the adjacent guest house. You can rent these two villas together or separately. These unique rental villas are located only 3.5 miles south of Puerto Vallarta on the beautiful and sandy Punta Negra beach. It is only 7 minutes to downtown (a quick $6.00 US taxi ride or a 60 cent bus ride).

This Puerto Vallarta vacation rental home has 97 meters of beach frontage and has over 7000 sq. feet of covered living space and and 8250 sq. feet of beautiful outdoor lawn, garden, pool and patio area. It sits on 30,515.00 square feet of prime real estate. Behind the property on the mountain side is 103,721.00 square feet of tropical rain forest.

Casa Macumba is ideal for weddings, renewal of vows, corporate retreats, special events and relaxing vacations. There are no roads, boardwalks or other villas in front of Casa Macumba so the view is unparalleled. The white sandy beach is only 7 steps away where you can enjoy excellent swimming, kayaking, boogie boarding and other water sports. The villa comes with 2 tandem kayaks and one single kayak and 6 boogie boards, snorkel gear and a ping pong table. Proximity to beach makes it easy to keep an eye on your children when they are in the water. Punta Negra Beach is one of the only beaches in the immediate Puerto Vallarta area that does not have a drop off or an under tow so swimming and wading in the water is safe for children. Its the best and longest walking beach in Puerto Vallarta being 1400 yards long.

A special bonus for guests is that they can see whales, dolphins, flying fish, turtles, and an array of other sea life right from the villa. On March 15, 2010 a baby humpback whale and its mother put on a breathtaking show, jumping several times only 100 meters in front of the villa and award winning wedding photographer Marv Heston was on site to capture the images.

This Puerto Vallarta rental home has 180 degree breathtaking views that span from Yelapa and the Los Arcos Underwater Ecological Reserve in the south to the bay's beautiful horizon in the west and from Punta Mita, Nuevo Vallarta and Marina Vallarta to the north and to the pristine tropical rain forests of the undeveloped Sierra Madre Mountains to the east.

All seven bedrooms in the main villa including the living room, dinning room and kitchen have double wide doors that open up to ocean views and a covered terrace which runs the entire length (approx. 80 yards) of this unique u-shaped rental villa. Everything, including the 10 car parking area, pool, patio and living areas, is on one level which makes this Puerto Vallarta vacation rental villa suitable for children, the elderly and handicapped people. Its fully accessible for wheelchairs.

The villa's comes with a chef, a waiter/bartender, a houseboy and a house keeper.

The white cotton curtains, tropical hardwood curtain rods and closet doors, Mexican and Guatamalan cotton bedspreads, limited edition lithographs and original acrylic paintings as well as bronze sculptures give this vacation villa a warm comfortable atmosphere.

An architectural gem, Casa Macumba has enormous hand-hewn hardwood beams, terra cotta tile roof and big arched covered terraces. This authentic Mexican hacienda has that old Mexico feel without sparing the comforts and amenities of a modern home.

This remarkable vacation villa has over 8250 square feet of outdoor living space which includes a big blue oval pool, a lawn large enough to play volleyball and other lawn sports, and a patio that can seat up to 170 people for weddings and events.

The villa staff will organize a real fiesta Mexicana with mariachis, folkloric dancers, a mock cock fight (no blood) and prepare a traditional Mexican feast. The vacation villa includes reclining chairs with comfortable cushions, pool towels, two hammocks, and a thatched roof palapa where guests can enjoy their favorite drink and take in the most spectacular sunsets this side of the Rio Grande. Throughout the rental property are a variety of plants with flowers, shrubs and fruit trees including: coconut palms, bananas, guavas, two types of mangoes, and almonds. Loved everything about this place!

My family of 21 (parents, siblings, and children) stayed at Casa Macumba this month and loved it! The cook was amazing (still missing the food), the rooms were nice and clean, the pool was warm (which was very nice since it was a little chilly early/late in the day, but the kids could still swim early or late and be warm), the staff was friendly and accommodating (like climbing a tree to harvest a coconut for us to try), and the owner was very helpful with anything we needed (which was especially great when my nephew had an allergic reaction and needed to see a doctor).
We loved having the outside all enclosed by a fence so we didn't have to worry about the kiddos wandering too far and the yard was great for playtime. They also really enjoyed the hammocks. The beach was clean and beautiful. The waves were pretty big in February and the kids loved playing in them and with the boogie boards and kayaks.
PV is a beautiful town and we really enjoyed going to farmers market (as well as all the other shopping opportunities), a couple of the boys went on a 4-wheeling tour which they really enjoyed, and my daughter, dad, and sister went zip-lining at a place just a few minutes from the house and had an amazing time!
My parents loved it so much they want to return next year for their 50th anniversary! I can't wait! :)
