This beautiful redone home in centrally located VISTA LAS PALMAS is close to everything. Walk into downtown PALM SPRINGS or use one of the 3 bicycles provided. Laze by the pool looking at the mountains situated at the pool's end. The white privacy walls guarantee you a beautiful tan even in the middle of winter.
The house rumored to be Dolly Sinatra's home prior to her tragic airplane death was bought by her son, Frank, whose own house, Twin Palms is only a 10 minute drive away. The house has been recently updated and expanded and decorated by STEPHEN JOHNSTON. Enjoy the coolness and soft cork floors throughout the house and the artwork and specially designed linens you'll find on our pillow top mattresses.
Private, tastefully decorated and furnished this house is great for a weekend or a winter's or summer's retreat. Special services are available upon request.

Better than we imagined!

My husband and I have been renting from vrbo for several years and, again, we are extremely satisfied with our choice. Don, one of the owners, met us on our arrival and went over the house with us and surprised us with a bottle of wine, crackers, ect as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary that week. The house was clean, well stocked and beautiful decorated. We loved the bikes that were available for our use. The neighborhood is so quiet and serene! We would lay around the pool all day and wouldn't even hear a noise but gazing at the mountains that surround the home are fabulous!! It was simply wonderful relaxing in the jacuzzi during the day and night! The bed was amazing and we slept so well. It was great to wake up to the view of the palm trees. Don was wonderful from the start of the contract for the rental through our departure. If you are considering renting this home you won't be disappointed!!! We will return and only hope that it is available for us next year! Thank you Don!! P.S. This home is in a fabulous location for dining, shopping, hiking, biking, golfing ect. Palm Springs has it all!!!

WOW - what an outstanding week we had at this fabulous property celebrating dual 50th birthdays! It's exactly as described and the listing photos are an accurate reflection of the property and it's amenities. Not to be under-stated is the awesome Vista Las Palmas neighborhood - perfect for that early morning or late afternoon stroll / jog or bike ride! The entire rental process was extremely smooth and hassle free. The hosts were very responsive throughout and met us precisely at our designated check-in date/time. They even got our week started right with a birthday card and a bottle of champagne - Thank You!! While Palm Springs has a lot to offer, we found ourselves spending most of our time at "home" - we certainly did not want to depart. This is BY FAR the best home of the four we've rented in Palm Springs and look forward to being repeat customers!

I booked this place for my friend's bachelorette as an alternative to booking a bunch of rooms at a hotel. The place was so wonderful, all the girls just LOVED it! The house is beautifully decorated and clean, with a sound system playing Frank Sinatra tunes throughout the house and outside. The pool area is gorgeous, with a mister to keep cool and a hot tub for night time relaxation. We had brunch outdoors on the patio table and spent lots of time lounging by the pool. The owner was so incredibly nice and easy to deal with, and did his best to make sure we all had a good time- which we definitely did! I am honestly just waiting for another opportunity to come here again!

First Timer in Palm Spring

This was our first time in Palm Spring and we really liked the area. We loved the mountains, all the palm trees, beautiful flowers, and walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The house was wonderful, a perfect getaway house with total privacy. We enjoyed the design, and the tasteful interior. The outdoor area had everything we needed, nice pool, lots of seating and relaxing areas. We will absolutely be back!

Best House EVER!!

This is the 7th house in Palm Spring that I have rented, and it absolutely takes the cake. We wanted to write a terrible review so that no one would want to stay here and we could have it whenever we wanted it, but alas...that wouldn't be fair! The owners were exceedingly kind and thoughtful, the design sensibility modern and joyful, the pool area begs for a glamorous photoshoot and the kitchen is perfect for gourmet gatherings. Our group of ladies who are almost all fashion-industry veterans were enamoured with the chic, peaceful, yet playful setting, filled with creature comforts and stylish surprises. If it isn't apparent, we loved it, and can't wait to come back !

Exceeded Our Expectations

We stayed at this house from 5/13/2011-5/15/2011 and it was wonderful! The pictures do not do this house justice. The property is super clean and fully stocked. You literally do not even need to bring lotion. The back yard is AMAZING with tons of super comfy seating that is not clear from the pics. The entire back wall of the property is extra high and has built in lighting and cushions for people to sit on. Also, there is a HUGE side yard perfect for kids etc. I found this house to be a perfect blend of mid century "coolness" and 2011 functionality. Most importantly, the owners were simply terrific. There was even a gift basket waiting for us in the kitchen--I was stunned!! This is my new Palm Springs home--cannot wait to come back again. :)
