Cozy waterfront cabin with 135 feet of waterfront facing Enchanted Isle. From the huge covered back deck (35x16) relax with 2 different seating areas or dine outside with your grilled lunch or dinner. Watch the sunset from the top balcony of the boathouse or fish from the newly constructed dock some 40 feet out in the lake. The southern breezes will have you taking a mid-afternoon nap in no time. After your days activities, come back inside to shoot a game of pool or watch your favorite movie as your day unwinds. Only 1/2 hour away is the world famous "First Monday" in nearby Canton, TX to go shopping for antiques, furniture, clothing, etc. In the fall, light a fire in the great room fireplace while sipping your favorite glass of wine.

I started visiting the lake in early 2001 and came back every summer and fall with friends who owned property. There comment always was "get your water first" so when this cabin on 1 & 1/2 lot suddenly came up for sale, I grabbed the opportunity. As a personal shopper for a major Dallas retailer, this is the perfect weekend getaway for be being only 1 hour from downtown Dallas. Friends and family never hesitate to ask if they can come to the lake. It's a perfect weekend getaway.
The cabin is ideally situated halfway down the lake on the east side as to watch some awesome sunsets whether you are on the dock or floating on a raft in the lake. Quiet secluded neighborhood of about a dozen homes all well maintained. It's only one hour from Dallas so it makes for a perfect weekend retreat yet you feel like your world's away from the city.
Nothing better than to bring a good book, magazine, and recline on the comfy chairs with a cool breeze and totally relax. You can almost feel the daily stress leave you body as you watch the water and close you eyes for a peaceful nap.
