What a wonderful time we had during our stay at Annie's cottage. My family from out of town and my immediate family had the comforts of home while attending my son's wedding at Skytop. We loved it! It was honestly the best time with family. I only regret not having more time to enjoy it more.... two days was just not enough. Everything was clean and immaculate. It felt very inviting and comfortable. Thank you Annie. We would definitely come again but stay longer.

Another review posted describes our stay perfectly. We would add that Annie left some home-grown lettuce and onion in the refrigerator which was delicious, and talk about details - there were even sticks prepared for s-mores by the grill. You won't be disappointed in your stay at the Cottage!

From the swing on the front porch, we watched a family of wild turkeys stroll by and deer graze. From the comfy lounges by the pool we watched the water sparkle. In the rainfall shower we felt the tension drain... This was the perfect place to calm jittery nerves before our daughter's wedding at Skytop on August 4th.
The cottage was immaculately clean. There were enough towels to accommodate everyone in our party with tons still left after four days-this includes my daughter who always finds it necessary to use three towels each time she showers! The beds were wonderfully comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. The bags of ice in the freezer showed just a part of how the owner tried to think of every detail to make the stay at her cottage stress free. Each bathroom had amenities in it-just in case you forgot to pack your shampoo.
The kitchen had every kind of cooking necessity I could ever imagine. The coffee maker was fully stocked with everything needed for the morning caffeine jolt and I used the dishes in a rental unit for the first time in my life before washing them...they too were sparkling clean.
Each room in the cottage offered something different-too numerous to list here. Come check out the old books to read, the pretty antiques displayed in the cabinets, and all the old architectural design elements for yourself-you won't be disappointed!
The grounds were beautiful and well cared for-with flowers blooming everywhere. The surrounding area is also gorgeous-it is Skytop...
If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that there are not enough pictures on this site to do the cottage all the justice it so deserves!
Come to magnificent Skytop, enjoy nature and civility at its finest-and by all means, stay here.

Owner is very pleasant and easy to get in touch with which made for a smooth rental transaction. Pictures say it all, this cottage is extremely warm and cozy and I highly recommend this property to rent, you won't be disappointed. Everything was exactly how it is described and we will definitely be visiting again!

We absolutely loved staying in this house for my daughter's wedding at Skytop. The owner is so pleasant to deal with and she has thought of everything for a lovely stay. Everything was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the summer house and pool. There was even firewood cut for the fire pit! All of Skytop's amenities are close by. We would go back and stay here in a heartbeat! Such a charming house!

We had the best time on our weekend at this house in Skytop. The house was gorgeous and Annie was such a pleasure to deal with! Not to mention, the house is in a perfect location if you are going to a wedding at Skytop, we walked to and from the wedding. I would recommend this house over and over again and I hope to come back for a visit soon! Thanks again for everything, Annie!

Our family had a much needed weeklong rest and restoration at this lovely cottage! What a treasure! Having grown up visiting Skytop yearly in the 60s and 70s, it was so much fun to return with my own family and have so much seem the same -- the gorgeous landscaping, daily deer visits and proximity to the lake and lodge all made for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. We were delighted with all the amenities -- updated bathrooms and kitchen, fluffy towels, comfy beds ... wow! And best of all, Annie is the most delightful hostess!

My family recently celebrated our son and daughter-in-law's wedding at Skytop and spent five days at this cottage. We arrived Thursday afternoon and by the time we woke up Friday morning it already felt like home. It was unanamous among children and adults that the cottage was a remarkable place. It is tastefully decorated, cozy and, above all, homey. There is an outbuilding with a screened-in porch, barbaque and pool perfect for outdoor parties. The cottage is convenient to golf, skeet shooting and other outdoor activities. For hikers or joggers, it's a paradise. This cottage is a great find for anyone who is looking for an ideal location to get away and relax. We plan to return sometime in the future. Best of all...we gained another wonderful daughter.
