We stayed here for 5 nights that were terrific. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were very close to the beach and fort cinch, and a short car ride to town. There was a very helpful book with area attractions and resturant info in the house. It was very easy working with the owners, who were always informative and pleasant. I would stay here if in the area again.

The time we spent at this lovely house, was on a 4 day military pass for my husband, before he shipped off for Iraq. This house is less than 2 hours away from Ft. Stewart, Georgia. As a family we could not have chosen a better place for our last few days together other than home. The house is better than described in any of the reviews, in our opinion. We were very pleased with the size of the home it was very comfortable. The washer and dryer was great, we ended each night in the hot tub, with our 12 year old son, and 5 year old daughter. The Keycode to get it, was great. Entering the house was a piece of cake. The beach was really close enough to walk even with our 5 year old carrying her own toys without any complaints about the distance. The weather was beautiful, 70-80's in the first week of March. The beach is clean, and beautiful. A big thanks to Renee, she made everything very simple, the house is set up for ease of access and living the vacation life. We thought it would be great to be able to return to here, it was a great value, and a great place so we were sad to see the place was for sale.

This rental was the perfect winter getaway. We stayed there for New Year's week and had a great time in Amelia Island and Jacksonville. We were close to so many great outdoor activities even though it was not beach weather. My 21 month-old loved the nearby State Parks and the Jax Zoo (only 30 minutes away). Thank you for providing a great guestbook with wonderful suggestions of restaurants and activities! We also enjoyed the water cooler and the keyless entry. These little touches are what make this rental so great!

I rented this house in early November, 2007 and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The open floor plan on the first level was nice for our gatherings and the entertainment center was excellent as was the wireless Internet. I was able to do a working vacation (sometimes the only type I can) and enjoy the hot tub in the unseasonably chilly weather. The house is extremely private and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. The water dispenser was especially nice and easy to refill locally. The local information provided by the owners was very helpful. I hope to rent this again.

Our family enjoyed our recent brief stay in your lovely home. Our ages ranged from 91 to 23. The hot tub and downstairs bedroom zand bath were great for our needs. Steps with handrails to accomodate my elderly mother and brother into the hottub would have been helpful, but we did not expect handicap amenities with this rental. With intermittent stormy weather interferring with our time on the beach and in the water, your home provided a very relaxing and comfortable intervention. Everything was very clean and nicely appointed! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Thanks so much for a wonderful week! Your home was a perfect place to stay, just a short walk to everything. My husband and I enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting seashells and watching the sunrise. Absolutely beautiful!

Our college age kids enjoyed biking, boogie boarding, going into town, and of course your wireless internet. We will definitely come back again.
Thanks so much,
Pam and Jody Hawkins

We had a wonderful time at your home. We spent from sunrise--loved it and got some great pics!--to sunset on the beach--great beach for shells and shark's teeth at low tide. The kids(ages 4 to 34!)were so thrilled to find the teeth in the sand. they went home with a couple of dozen each to show off to their friends! And beautiful whelk shells to boot. We were all pleasantly surprized by the size of the house and the outdoor living space was a treat for us. It felt very much like you were an honored guest at a friends home. Thank you for sharing.

The week we stayed in your home wasn't long enough!! My family loved being near the Fort Clinch State Park. We rode our bikes there every day and strolled along the beaches near the fishing pier. Thank you Renee and Chad for making your home so warm and welcoming to all who visit. We would definitely come back!

Thank you, Renee and Chad, for a wonderfully relaxing week in your beautiful home. The only "complaint" I have is that we didn't go anywhere, because nobody wanted to leave the house and the nearby beach. It's a great place for every age (our group ranged 9-82)and we hope to be back and get some exploring done!
