We loved this property and can give it our ***** recommendation. The artist beach house is a quiet retreat, right in the middle of the city. Two blocks from the beach, on the bay with a great dock to crab off or sit with a glass of wine! The photos show the property accurately, but they do not reflect how large the property actually is. We were three families of four and we had lots of room for the kids to go off to play and adults enjoy each other in the kitchen. The property was very well maintained with gardens all around and great party space outdoors. The owners were very organized and helpful. A great family vacation spot!!!!!

My family had their reunion at this artist beach home... we were very impressed with the kitchen - it is so well equipped and the appliances are top notch. We felt very much at home as we cooked and held court in this gourmet , service for twelve , kitchen and sit down dining room. Every one had a great bed to sleep in and the views were amazing.
The backyard is made for a party and the second floor terrace overlooks the bay. Quiet neighborhood a bike ride from five restaurants. This house is a wonderful get away. Thanks to the owners, they were great - we brought my brothers boat and launcehed it from the public landing 2 blocks away!

The location was good. The water access was across the street not adjacent to the property. No access to Jetted Tub as promised in the ad. Owners were non-responsive when called for clarification or assistance with house issues. Wife was in Colorado, and husband could have cared less about anything. I found the refrigerator so filthy that it was unusable until two of us spent an hour each cleaning it. It smelled of dead fish and there were three dead flies inside. After walking around barefooted for one day I noticed that the bottom of my feet were black with grime, which was disgusting. This necessitated another hour of moping the floors. The outside cooking area was a big disappointment, as w found lights burned out and all surfaces were thick with black grime, the kind that required, yes another hour to clean. The carpets were so filthy that it took a couple of days for me to realize that they were supposed to be light beige, not dark gray/Brown. I wouldn't recommend this to any one looking for the quality promised in the ad.

My family and friends rented Colleen's home for a second time this year, we all take our classic cars down for the weekend. We feel so comfortable leaving the cars in front of the home, several neighbors actually introduced themselves and spoke to us about our stay and also the cars. We will certainly rent the home again in the future. We had a wonderful time and we will see you nexy year!

This was an absolutely fabulous weekend. Spent most of our time in the Kitchen area. Great entertaining area. Everybody was floored with the house. Enjoyed the unique art items and decorations, many pieces were thoughly enjoyed by everyone. Easy walik to the store and bus stop.

My family and several other friends stayed in May 2011, The home was gorgeous....we cant wait to book again for next year!

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, spectacular (view), cozy, convenient are just some of the adjectives that come to mind. If you're looking for a home away from home (and then some), look no further, you hit the jackpot! Not only did we enjoy lovely days at the beach, but returning the the artist beach home was a treat in itself. The gourmet kitchen was extremely well stocked, the backyard patio was lovely and every bed was very comfortable. I can't recommend this home enough!
