Best Location

After doing a lot of research, I found this villa, and after staying there, I could not be more pleased. The location was PERFECT! You are close enough to the airport, but not too close! You are also right across the street from the Rio Mar hotel, which has a wonderful beach! The villa itself is beautifully decorated! It is kid-friendly, and it just makes you feel like you're at a home away from home! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ivy, the owner. My husband and I were blown away by her professionalism and kindness! She had so many helpful tips about Puerto Rico, and she was always so easy to get a hold of. Without ANY reservations, I would recommend this villa to anyone!

Today is our first day back and how I want to be back in that gorgeous villa with the ocean view!! Our daughter and her family, our son, and my husband and I had a grand time. Ivy had many helpful suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Ricky's on the hilltop has the most spectacular view. I will never forget it.

Our 2 year old granddaughter had a comfortable place to sleep, toys, children's dishesand linen, an outdoor playground and even a snuggly blanket. The villas was furnished well and provided for all of our needs. It was tastefully decorated and very well cared for. We all had our own space and could relax each night on those great beds.

It is peaceful and a restful area . The ocean views are gorgeous. Our family enjoyed the Wyndam and beach areas. The rain forest is about 10 minutes away. We did purchase groceries in local stores and had great pasteries at the base of the hillside.

My wife and I stayed with another couple in Ivy's villa and had a fabulous time. The villa itself is positively lovely, modern, and fully-equipped. The location is within easy driving distance to the rainforest, Isla Verde, Old San Juan, and the town of Lugillo (coastal). Plenty of shops/stores in the immediate vicinity for last-minute needed items (groceries and the like), and Ivy thoroughly helped us to prepare by offering so many useful suggestions and answer every question proptly. The Rio Mar resort has a great pool and beach area (rather expensive drinks at the Tiki Bar, however).

I would HIGHLY recommend Ivy's villa and plan on using it again in future vacations.

Ivy's villa is wonderfully decorated and fully equipped. My wife and I traveled with another couple and found it to be an excellent central location for going to the rainforest, Isla Verde, Old San Juan, and the coastal town of Lugillo (for snorkling). I would highly recommend the Spread Eagle II for a daytime Catamaran cruise. The Metropole and Brass Cactus provided good dinners, and the villa close to all the necessaries (groceries, etc.) All-in-all, we had a fantastic time and look forward to making our way back down there.

I was thoroughly impressed with the villa. It was decorated professionally and very roomy. There was plenty of room for our entire family including an infant and 7 year old. I would definitely rent this property in the future.

We visited Puerto Rico from July 1-8, 2007. The villa was not only beautifully decorated and very well kept, but it was perfect for my family as we have two children, one of which is a 21 month old boy! Ivy's child friendly villa allowed for less worry and also included a new high chair and a pack n' play that we used as his crib for the week. The beds were incredibly comfortable as well!

The location was central to our daily outings and the beach access at the Rio Mar next door was a family favorite! We would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Puerto Rico -- this San Diego family will surely be back!

This Villa definitely felt like home the moment we walked into it. It is spacious, brilliantly decorated, clean and in a great location. A family of nine stayed here and we all fit perfectly. I really enjoyed the quiet area and having the Westin next door was great. El Yunque is about 10 minutes away and I would highly recommend it. The owner was such a great help and definitely made sure we were well aquainted during our stay. I will definitley stay here again.

We were hesitant about visiting Puerto Rico after being to a number of other smaller islands, but we had a great week—thanks in part to Ivy’s villa. This place was great for our family of 4: clean, spacious, well decorated and very comfortable (including the beds). This is one of the newer complexes in the area. The location is quiet and laid back, but there is easy access to the Westin resort next door and Route 3, a major road for access to San Juan and beaches. Ivy was very helpful with planning our visit and making our stay comfortable. If you are looking for a modern, spacious villa for a family vacation, this is a great choice. We're rather picky and this villa passed the test. Great value. Highly recommended!
