Nice Long Weekend!

We came for a long weekend and it was terrific. Walked on the beach, ate at Brophy Brothers in Ventura Harbor and just hung out. One of the weekend days was overcast so we drove to Ojai (beautiful and sunny!). We stopped at the winery off of 33 on the way to Ojai. This side trip was suggested in the "what to do" book that the owner put together. The wines were pretty good and the setting was very nice. That night we BBQed back at the house. Happy to say the rental is well-equipped we everything we needed. We couldn't have had a better time!
Oh, yes, be sure to go to Old Town in Ventura - lots to do there!

A Great Week!

We've had a great week staying here. We kayaked in the harbor, played at the beach and caught lots of fish on a Channel Islands Sport Fishing trip. Our stay here was perfect. Everything we needed and then some was here waiting for us. For great pizza check out Toppers Pizza near the harbor.

My boyfriend and I and our three kids had a wonderful time here. We were here for seven nights. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed not only in the home but for a day at the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed Oxnard and the small community feel. The neighbors were very nice and we hope to return next year!

Short Walk to Fantastic Beach!

We had a nice time in the house which is fully equipped and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We were here for four days. Just a short walk away from the fantastic beach from where you can watch dolphins and pelicans in the ocean.
Santa Barbara, Malibu are about a half hour away and Los Angeles is only one hour drive away so this is an ideal place when you stay in that region for a couple of days.
The process of key fetching and returning went very smooth and was very efficient. Office is just five minutes drive from the house.

Spent a week up in Oxnard in this wonderful home.House was very clean and had everything we needed.Only took a short 3 minute walk to get to the beach. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice beach rental.

Big Girls' Weekend Out!

My family has stayed at this very well maintained home just a very short walk to the beach several times. We live just an hour away but love to come here because it offers a different type of atmosphere. This time it was our girls' weekend. We had a great time. The home is nice decorated and the kitchen is spacious and well equipped (though we did not cook at all except for breakfast!) The weather was splendid and the beach was uncrowded. We spent lots of time in Ventura enjoying the scene and of course, spending some money at the very cute shops. Last night we thought we would go Ventura Harbor or back to Ventura for dinner but found an outstanding Italian restaurant, The Italian Job, just five minutes away and had a wonderful meal. This morning we strolled along the ocean and spent a little time in the backyard just relaxing. Then, sadly, it was time to go home to get ready for the work week. This was a terrific short vacation. Fall at the beach is really awesome!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your spacious, comfortable home. Really appreciated the abundance of towels, linens, beds, TV's, internet, etc. We could really spread out. We were fortunate to see porpoises. Also, enjoyed a special dinner the last night at La Dolce Vita in Heritage Square. Hope we can return some day.

Thanks for the wonderful place to stay! The kitchen and linens/towels were well stocked, and the house was in excellent condition. We went horseback riding in Ojai and spent a lot of time at Camarillo outlets and of course, went to the beach where we saw dolphins! Wow!
