Gorgeous apartment. Everything you could possibly need for a short or long term stay in Florence. Beautiful location on the river and overlooking the Ponte Vecchio. Allesandra was very helpful in assisting us with planning our trip. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful apartment.

My wife, 20 year old daughter and I stayed for a week in January 2009.
Apartment living in Italy does not come any better than this. Apart from the facilities, the assistance given by Alessandra in our arrival process made our stay an absolute pleasure.
facilities were impeccable, the views astounding and the location, particularly for reasonably priced restaurants ideal....a tip...try the new mini supermarket located off Borgo San Jacopo for good value produce...vegetables in particular as good as market quality and at comparable prices.
Would I return?
Any time, any time.

My husband and our teenage daughter spent five days at tradueponte over spring break March 2008. We were so impressed with the care that Allesandra put into the fit and finish of the place AND how helpful she was answering our every question. We said good-bye to hotels years ago, but the trade-off means relying on a smooth exit and departure, and she had it down pat. Our only issue: The master bedroom faces the busy street, so bring earplugs and/or a sound machine.

We stayed at Tra Due Ponti in early March 2008. We found the apartment to be everything and more that was advertised. It was quiet, very clean, updated, modern, and comfortable. The views out the window onto the Arno are fabulous. It is right off a bus stop for easy transportation and close to all the major sights and some great restaurants. Allesandra was more than helpful in all aspects of us enjoyng Florence. We have fallen in love with Florence, and when we return, we will definitely stay again at Tra Due Ponti.

This was the perfect apartment for two couples traveling together with bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite sides - totally private. We were right in the middle of everything with wonderful views out every window. The apartment is very clean and furnished very confortably. We enjoyed cooking our meals and purchasing the fresh vegetables, pastas and wines at the street shops below our apartment. Alessandra was a great hostess, appearing on time, answering all our questions with good humor, left info where she could be reached, but then left us alone so we could feel this was truly our place for the week. We had a marvelous time and would love to return.

February 2008. My husband and I spent 6 days at the apartment recently to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It would be difficult to find a more romantic spot in Florence, with the Ponte Vecchio bridge almost within touch, through the apartment windows. Alessandra, who was there to greet us, was totally charming and full of helpful information. If you want a place to stay that is spacious, stylish, comfortable and close to all amenities, this is the place for you!

We (mom and 3 teens) stayed in this wonderful apartment, for 10 days in mid NOV 2007. We all decided we could easily, and happily live here for months! The location is central to everything: only a few hundred meters from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. It is one floor up, which makes for a wonderful river experiences watching the rowers, spotting wild-life in the river (neutra, ducks, fish), or the pattern of the rain on the water. Even on the grayest and stormiest winter day, we loved being in this apartment! My teen age boys enjoyed watching the activities on the street side too (one lane, with upscale shops and lovely cafe surround this apartment). We found the bridge to be extremely safe, and the reputation for pickpockets unfounded. There seemed to be friendly and helpful policia or private security 24/7, likely to ensure the security of all that FABULOUS gold jewelry in the shops on the bridge. We would often be out and about walking to/from the apartment until very late at night. We always felt safe and secure. For those that wish to visit Firenze in winter months, the heating system in this apartment is incredible: modern and on thermostat! And hot water is "on demand" so their is no worry about running out of hot water. The kitchen is modern and well appointed, with a 4 burner cooktop, microwave/oven, HUGE refrigerator, dishwasher and a washer! (there is a clothes drying rack in the apartment as well as iron, and we found everything dried over night). The beds were very comfortable. AND there are electric roll down shutters on all the windows, making the apartment quiet and dark should you want this.
ALL the rooms are spacious. The two bathrooms generous in size with nice showers, large sinks, huge mirrors and beautiful tile. We enjoyed the travel books on the bookshelves (left by prior visitors). There is a television hooked up to satellite and a computer hookup that is relatively fast. The floors are wood or tile, and the entire apartment was very clean and dry (no mold, no mustiness). The large windows make it bright inside, the furnishing are modern, the location is safe, and the owner WONDERFUL, speaks english, is honest, (when asked to send deposit via computer, do not worry) and knows the area. We hope to stay here again, and have recommended it to friends and family.

Spectacular apartment with great location and view. The website pictures do not do it justice. The service was excellent. We would rent it again in a heartbeat.

My daughter, two teenage granddaughters and myself stayed in this beautiful apartment, and we loved everything about it. The interior, the views, the owners. Florence was beautiful, everyone so friendly. We have recommended this apartment to friends and would love to stay there again. The biggest decision of the holiday was which Italian leather handbags to buy. So much choice.
