This East Vail property offers all the comforts and amenities for the ideal getaway. The kitchen has just been remodeled and the unit's baths have been remodeled with granite counters, a Jacuzzi tub and two steam showers. The living areas offer an exposed brick fireplace, vaulted ceilings, a skylight and new operable windows throughout. It also has a huge deck that provides lots of outdoor living space, tons of sun and gorgeous views.

This unit has three private bedrooms with wall-to-wall windows overlooking Gore Creek and Bighorn Lake. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV and separate bathroom. The floor plan allows for comfortable living areas combined with private bedrooms for some alone time after a busy day of activities with friends, family or the kids. There is no need to drive anywhere once you arrive here as the free town shuttle picks up just steps from our front door.

Viewable from this unit and a minute’s walk away is Bighorn Park, a beautiful little park with athletic fields, picnic areas, Gore Creek walking trails, a large playground for the kids, and a small lake with stunning views. This property is very well suited for the perfect wintry ski retreat or summer getaway.

Guests have full access to the Vail Racquet Club, the most comprehensive full-service health club in the Vail Valley. Amenities include a 2,800 square foot fitness center with Cybex equipment & a free weight room, a 25-meter heated outdoor pool (open year-round), two 16-person outdoor hot tubs, daily fitness and yoga classes, sauna & steam rooms, 10 outdoor tennis courts including three clay courts (summer), and a fully stocked fitness shop.

There is a ($10/day) fee for use of club facilities; family memberships available for our long-term guests. Tennis lessons or swimming clinics, massage therapy, personal training, a tanning bed and snowshoes are all available to guests for a fee.

About The Owner

We've spent our whole lives recreating in the Rocky Mountains skiing, biking, golfing camping, fishing, etc. We bought this place with all of this in mind as we wanted a great place to spend our weekends and holidays. Vail is truly a world-class resort and one of the most beautiful places on earth. We feel so fortunate to have this wonderful place to share with family, friends and other guests.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 1990
Why The Owner chose Vail

We bought this unit in East Vail because of the beauty of its surroundings, the close proximity to 5-6 world class ski resorts (Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin), access from our home in Denver, and the unlimited number of summer and winter activities it affords us and our guests.

What makes this townhome unique

Our unit is a 2 minute walk to the clubhouse with pool, hot tub and workout facilities. Also 2 minutes to the children's playground and park on the other side of the river and lake. It's a 6 mile bike ride into Vail Village passing the Vail golf course which is spectacular and the free bus takes about 15 minutes to get into Vail Village. For biking enthusiasts ,we are on the frontage road that goes up Vail Pass. Our location is price for families with children of all ages.

We have stayed in this place many times over the years and have really enjoyed our stay every time. The place is very nicely furnished with everything you need, it's location is the best of any at Vail Racquet Club, and the owners are very nice to deal with any very accomodating. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to vacation in Vail.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
