Five Star experience

My 8 girlfriends and I wanted to find a spectacular place to celebrate our 40th birthday. We wanted a place we would never forget and we found it at Casa de Frutas. Dave and Mauricio were amazing and no details were overlooked. The condo is spectacular with an amazing view of the ocean and fabulous sunsets. Not a far walk to the beach, but take one of the hiking trails down to the beach. Casa de Frutas is also close to some fine restaurants. Thanks Dave and Mauricio for making our "Fabulous at 40" Trip so memorable.

We just spent a week- 5 girls, the "Cinco Chicas" and had a blast. Mauricio and Dave are top notch hosts.
Manuel Antonio is a beautiful area and IF you like to walk you will have no problem getting to shopping - grocery and souvenir as well as dining without a car! Cabs are easy to get - Mauricio can help if you want one.
The walk to the beach IS steep and quite a workout on the return - but there is a shuttle.
We rafted and did the canopy tour...and spent lots of time enjoying the casa - had a chef come in for the last dinner.
Great restaurants - Aqua Azul, Barbar Rojas, Dos Cocos.
Expect great service from anywhere Mauricio and Dave recommend - everyone in town knows them. We all plan to return - one has already booked a week for her family!
A spectacular home in the jungle - ENJOY!

Our stay at Casa de Frutas was nothing short of amazing. The home, pool, grounds and views are stunning and the animal and bird watching from the expansive terraces is outstanding. Despite being on vacation, we arose by 6 a.m. every morning (even our late-sleepers) to watch the monkeys traverse the tree tops of the property. Dave was a gracious host and Mauricio has the gift of anticipating a guest's every need. We regret (1) not spending more time at Tulemar's beach; and (2) having to leave.

The experience of staying at CDF was beyond words. From the moment we arrived in Quepos to the moment we departed we were treated like royalty. The home's pictures don't do the property justice, and anyone who is considering this versus any other home in the region know this is THE PREMIER home in the area. Add the amenities of Tulemar and you have the perfect vacation destination. The staff was as spectacular as the home. We can't wait to book our next trip here!

Our family came down to stay at Casa de frutas for a wedding. We were all able to stay in the house and absolutely loved every minute of it. Tulemar is a great place to vacation, you feel very safe and have the ability to walk to different restaurants as well as eat in Tule Cafe. The private beach is awesome and we had a lot of fun enjoying the sun and relaxing. We could NOT have asked for a better week at Casa de frutas - everything we needed was taken care of and Mauricio went above and beyond in taking care of us. The house and the views were stunning and we enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunsets. We knew the house would be beautiful based on the pictures - but the pictures really don't do it justice! We were so impressed by how beautiful the house was and how well maintained it is. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back.

relaxing, and enjoyable place we have ever stayed.
My husband and I have traveled to many parts of
the world, we have stayed in beautiful places and
incredible hotels looking for our place in paradise
to call home. A place that we would want to go
back to year after year. Nothing can compare to our
experience at Casa Da Frutas. This is now our place
in paradise.
My husband and I enjoyed the beauty of the home
and the natural beauty that surrounded it, the
beautiful sunsets, our walks to the gorgeous quite
beach with warm ocean waters, waking up to the
sounds of nature and the smells of ocean and forest
air, the convenience of stores and great restaurants
most within walking distance, the privacy and
security of a secluded location within a gated
community, the charming town and friendly locals
of Manuel San Antonio only a short walk away, the
serene peace of being undisturbed by anyone, and
mostly, for all of the hospitality that Dave,
Mauricio, and all of the house staff who were so
friendly and helpful and paid attention to such
small details They were always there when we had a
request or even a simple question. We are ever so
grateful.
We have already booked for next year. We plan on
returning year after year for our winter vacation.
Our trip to Casa De Frutas will be the only good
thing about next year's Chicago winter!!!

We have had a lot of great vacations but the stay at Casa de Frutas was the best. Dave and Mauricio do everything to make your trip memorable - never have we felt so spoiled! The house is beautiful and the attention to detail exquisite! We can't wait to go back!

Our group, which consisted of three couples, has just returned from a week's stay at Casa de Frutas, and we all agree that our week there may have been the best vacation week of our lives. The house is beautiful and comfortable, the setting and views are gorgeous and the staff service was gracious and personalized.

We found the house to be ideal for three couples, with the right combination of privacy and togetherness. The living room, kitchen and dining area are roomy and the kitchen is well outfitted for those who want to prepare some of their own meals. Each of the suites is spacious, with outdoor space and beautiful views. It is clear that much thought has gone into the set-up of the suites---we could not think of anything that needed to be added for our comfort.

While we pride ourselves on southern hospitality in Georgia, it seems that it has been perfected in Costa Rica. Dave and Mauricio made us feel at home and were always available to help us with arrangements and questions. What a treat to be able to simply think of something we wanted and know that everyone would do their best to make it happen! All of us were thoroughly spoiled by the end of the week.

We unreservedly recommend Casa de Frutas to those seeking a quiet place in paradise that is close to lots of activities, with all the amenities and a wonderful staff and owner as well.
