This condo was amazing! From the fabulous greeting by the owners, to the exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail that was evident in every room. The views from the terrace were breathtaking! We were able to use the facilities (pool & beach) at the Resort which was a relaxing short walk down the beach. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We look forward to returning and enjoying more of this lovely paradise by the sea!

We stood at this Villa Jan 2013 for 5 nights, this was the best spot to be in Rincon. The Villa was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need, the view from the balcony was beautiful, lots of excellent local resturants to eat at. Deb & Lou are the owners they were so nice and very helpful with local things to do! Only one problem, staying for only 5 nights isn't enough time here! Can't wait to go back next winter. My wife and I were looking for a vacation spot where we could unwind with the sights and sounds of surf and boy did we find it. The Rincon area itself is very laid back without the mega-resorts of many beach destinations and is quite hilly with jungle vegetation almost everywhere. It's mostly surf shops, B&Bs or small hotels, and casual night spots. The people there speak English and are very warm and welcoming. The condo's location is on the southern side of the Rincon peninsula and has much calmer water for swimming than the north shore where the waves can be surfed but aren't so friendly for swimming. If you want to be among the surfer nightspot action look to the north shore ... but if you want a quieter, more peaceful location that's a short drive to the nightspots look no further than this condo.

Now to the condo itself ...

The unit is on the top floor of a 4-story building terraced up a hill from the beach. From the kitchen/family room and one of the two bedrooms there are 180-degree ocean views that go on forever, and thanks to being on the west coast of PR sunset was in view during our January stay. The unit and its decor felt new, were extremely clean, and far nicer than most beach hotels. It also has a full kitchen so we made many meals ourselves after taking advantage of local markets and roadside fruit and vegetable stands (the pineapple and papaya were amazing). The kitchen/family room is lined with glass doors which we kept open to enjoy the breeze and sounds of the surf. We were pleasantly surprised to have only one or two flying bugs find their way in over the course of a week with all the doors open. As nice as the condo interior is, we spent most of our time on the long balcony with a rum drink in hand, often swaying in the hammock.
Probably the best part of the experience were the condo owners. They were in town during our stay and were extremely gracious and hospitable with plenty of insider info at the ready. They steered us towards some terrific dining spots we would have never found on our own (be sure to ask about the "fish on a stick" and "chicken man" spots) and the best massage therapist, Annette, on the planet.

Travel tip:

Flying into the nearby Aguadilla airport will save a 2.5 hour drive to/from the San Juan airport. But if you must use SJU or plan to spend time exploring old San Juan I recommend staying your last night in SJ near the airport to avoid morning traffic.

This is a gem of a rental- it has a gorgeous, huge terrace that allows you to spend all your time looking at the ocean even when you are home! Beautiful views from the 3rd floor, 2 small bedrooms with plenty of closet space, a great kitchen, washer/dryer, a grill on the terrace and just steps from gorgeous beaches... what else could you want? We were 4 ppl (my husband and his parents and me) and we all thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. We loved walking along the beach at all times of the day, and the Rincon Beach resort is a 5 min walk along the beach so we would have delicious lunches there. I highly recommend this property for any group of up to 4 ppl looking for a relaxing beach vacation. The owners of this condo are also very friendly and helpful if any questions.

Impresionante, mucho mejor que en las fotos. Las vistas desde el ático son fascinantes. Es realmente un moderno y cómodo lugar para estar. El mejor sitio para descansar. Muy cerca del apartamento hay una maravillosa playa que puedes ver desde la terraza. Los propietarios son muy amables e informan de cualquier cosa que necesites. Seguro que si volvemos a Rincón, alquilaremos este ático.
Amazing, much better than in the photos. The views from the atic are fascinating. It´s really a modern and comfortable place to stay. The best place to relax yourself. Very close to the apartment there is a wonderful beach, that you can see from the terrace. The properties are very kind and inform you about everything you need. It´s sure that if we come back to Rincon, we will rent this atic.

We've been spending most of March in Rincon for the past 20 years. In that time we've rented in Puntas, Corciega, Ensenada; this year we were actually in Anasco but felt very much a part of Rincon. This 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment is long and narrow but the adjoining deck doubles the width and the doors remain open (except during the heavy rain) so the space feels generous and works well. It is an idyllic retreat with 240 degree vista due south and slightly west. Bits of the sunset can be seen off to the right. The kitchen is ample and a small drain problem with the sink was fixed immediately. The water pressure is best we've ever had and we never ran out of hot water. One night there was a power outage but that was after an extremely hard and drenching ran. Power came back after a few hours. We woke up one morning with a full rainbow finishing its arc right smack into the shallows just off our porch. Just exquisite! There's a Weber grill, a huge umbrella and giant round table resident on the deck. Several nice beach chairs, good fridge and washer/dryer. Little bit of a steep incline to beach but it actually becomes part of my excercise regimen. By the time I was tired I was home. Doesn't take long to trek up and down.One caution is don't try to drive anything but a compact into the parking area. A tight gate and very small lot footprint makes for a tight squeeze for even the smallest vehicle. We actually put a small scratch into ours before we realized how close and tight the space is. And there are way to many keys (but that's true of a lot of PR),But otherwise we recommend this place fully. Debra and Lou are gracious and warm; there if you need them but hands-off unless called. Also the neighbor and his wife are v. friendly. We'd love to go back.

I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the modern furnishings and the cleanliness. Attention to detail was evident everywhere and included anything a vacationer might need; from beach chairs and towels, hair dryer, movies, candles, even a travel basket filled with mini grooming items in case we forgot something, and so much more. The private balcony overlooking the ocean was spectacular for both evening and morning. We would definitely stay here again.

We have rented condos for over 20 years. This was one was one of the best and the owners a pleasure to work with. Best feature of the condo was the expansive terrace. We spent hours every day on the terrace enjoying the view, sun, and ocean breeze. Never before did we have such a calm ocean for swimming and floating - just about like having a pool. The ocean depth does drop off fairly fast so you would need to keep a close eye on young children. If you want more surf those beaches are not far away. This was an easy drive from the airport - the hardest part is finding the road down to the condo. Owners were great with plenty of suggestions and following up to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Also great and friendly neighbors who have plenty of suggestions for eating and touring as well. In fact, there were too many things to do for one stay! This was our first visit to Puerto Rico and it would not have been as enjoyable without this support. If you have never been to Puerto Rico you will find there is much to do and see and lots of local food to sample. This is the calmer more laid back side of the island and is well suited for a relaxing vacation. The unit does overlook the ocean and beach as stated, but is not directly on the beach. The beach is literally just steps away and in reality closer than about any oceanfront condo we have been in. To be honest it is as good as being on the beach and the view from this penthouse is awesome. If you have any doubts about this contact the owner and they will share more pictures and information. Overall a very pleasureable experience.
