What a rare gem... This beautiful 3 story, 4 bedroom 3 bath house is formerly the Yellow Rose Bed & Breakfast... now it`s available for your very own personal retreat! LOCATED BEHIND FRYE`S OLD TOWN. SEE MAIN STREET FROM THE BALCONY. Upon entry there are 3 bedrooms; two of which have queen beds, with the third having a double sized bunk bed.

All have access to a full size bath. Also ground level is the washer/dryer tucked away in its own little closet. Making your way up a beautiful staircase reveals the kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, spacious dining area with open floor plan to a southern-styled living area with wood burning fireplace and TV w/cable. Off the living area is a small but adorable balcony with amazing views.

Making your way up one more flight of stairs is the master suite with luxurious queen bed and full bath. Outside is a fenced in patio area with plenty of room for the kids to play or outdoor family gathering!

About Red River Real Estate

Jim & Kelly live in San Antonio, TX with their two lovely daughters, Kasey a highschool sophmore and Kerby a third grader. Oh yes, we cannot forget their Bijon, Kipper.

Jim, a civil engineer grad from the University of Illinios, is a division manager for heavy industry construction. Jim loves a good workout and never misses a chance to walk up the mountain and get his free ride down the lift when in Red River.

Kelly, a Texas Tech marketing grad, is a stay at home mom, a volunteer at both girl's schools, church and in the community. She is also the author of 'Are You Listening' and guest speaks from time to time. Interior decorating is her hobby.

Kasey is interested in theatre and speech. Currently, she is rehearsing the soon to open, 'Sound of Music' followed by 'Steel Magnolias' in the spring.

Kerby loves dogs and her friends. She takes tumbling and cheer as her goal is to be a highschool cheerleader.

The decision to purchase property in Red River, NM was mostly a sentimental one. Kelly has spent summers in Red River since she was 4 and always wished her parents had bought. Whenwe saw the Yellow Rose we knew it had been saved for us. They hope the Yellow Rose will be left as a legacy to their girls to enjoy with their children.

What makes this house unique

If you ask what is unique about the Yellow Rose it's the overall charm of course! The Yellow Rose theme and history is throughout the inn. We enjoy the year-around Yellow Rose Christmas Tree and seeing the new ornaments our guests have added each time we visit. A close second to the place's personality is location, location, location!!! We walk everywhere as we are so close to all the action at the Community House and Main Street. I am totally comfortable with the girls walking places on their own and have been since they were much younger even. We love being across from the park when Christmas lights are lit; it is nice being so close to the ski lifts too. When we are done with a long day of skiing, we drive down Main Street and boom, we are home! The best view of the ski slopes is from the laying position on our couch in front of the warm, cozy fireplace. In the Summer, the best seats in town are the Adirondack chairs on the balcony. We also enjoy having a glass of wine while sitting in the chairs by the window in the Master Suite on the 3rd floor of the Yellow Rose and admiring what God has created...

My family and I stayed here over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful time.
Great view of the mountain, easy access to town, full stocked kitchen, we had everything we needed to prepare our holiday dinner.
And thanks for all the movies, I got hurt the 2nd day while skiing and pretty much was on the couch watching movies and enjoying the view.

Great Thanksgiving

We stayed at the Yellow Rose over the Thanksgiving holiday. We made the whole Thanksgiving meal in the well equiped kitchen. We enjoyed the fireplace and of course the "Yellow Rose themed" Christmas tree put us in the Christmas spirit. I heard we were the first to use the big Sony tv which came in handy as the first day it was a cold tv/fireplace day. There was also a tv in each bedroom and dvd players too. I loved being across from the park when the lights were lit for the holidays on Thanksgiving night and we enjoyed them everynight after that. The views from the place were the best. It was good to be so close to the ski lift as well. We were hoping to get the house again but I see it is booked.

I loved the location of the Yellow Rose being so in the middle of all things fun. The kitchen was nicely stocked with beautiful dishes and there was even a slow cooker which came in very handy. All very charming.
