Everything worked out perfectly. The condo was impeccably clean, comfortable and convenient to everything in the Capital Hill area. It certainly served our needs. We had a great time in DC. If ever we need accommodations in DC again, I would not hesitate to call you again. Thanks for having us.

Great location, fun place to visit

We had a great time, the owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. The location is convenient to everything - close to Metro, lots of great restaurants nearby (Banana Cafe a few blocks away). We also had dinner at the Two Quail near Union Station which was fantastic. The apartments are clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Rental was as advertised and we will definitely be back.

Nice, Clean, Easy

Week's Stay Houston, Texas

I really enjoyed my stay at this condo. It was spacious enough, plus extremely convenient to the metro line - making it very easy to get around DC and beyond. We had a great time picking up snacks and groceries from Eastern Market (a very short walk). If that's not your thing, then there are several good restaurants in the neighborhood. Working with the owners ("landlord") was also quite easy - no problems there at all.

It's nice when things go well. This did.

Great place to stay

This apartment was an excellant choice for our short stay in Washington DC. The apartment itself was great - very spacious with a lovely deck outside the kitchen window. Extremely comfortable beds with plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The whole apartment was unusual with stained glass windows in living room & a huge fireplace which would be lovely in the winter. It was in a very quiet residential location which meant no noises during the night. It was only a five minute walk to the subway which brought us to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. We had a wonderful time & would love to go back. Would happily recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in DC.

Good Experience

Our family consisted of 4 adults and 2 children. The property was clean and ready. It appeared that it may have been recently painted as colors were bright and clean. There were plenty of towels and linens. It was located very conveniently to all the sights and attractions that we were interested in seeing. We did rent a car and found that we were able to park on the street by moving the car to stay within the acceptable parking times near the condo.

The two beds were comfortable, but the fold-out sofa in the living room was extremely uncomfortable. We couldn't decide if the mattress needed to be replaced or if it was the support system.
It really needs attention!

Both the bathroom and kitchen faucets were leaking, and we could see water behind the washer/dryer that is located in the bathroom. The bathtub drained extremely slowly and required a plunger that was provided to make the water go down. It doesn't feel comfortable to be standing in water while taking a shower. The hot water heater was noisy and the fan to the freezer made noise.

We rented the condo so we would be able to prepare most of our meals as a way to save money. There were no baking pans to use to heat garlic bread or frozen pizza or something like that.

We might have used the washer/dryer had there been a bottle of detergent furnished. There was plenty of toilet paper but it would have been nice to have kleenex furnished also. Since we flew to
Washington, DC, it was not convenient to bring these items with us or to have them leftover if we purchased them there.

There were a lot of steps to climb so this is not for persons who have difficulty climbing steps.

There were a nice variety of places to eat within walking distance as well as Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts.
Owner's Response: Unfortunately, this guest didn't contact us about her concerns during her stay. We pride ourselves on responsiveness and ensuring all of our guests have a wonderful experience. If she had informed us during her stay, we would have happily addressed them.

Upon receiving this note, we contacted the plumber and they are fixing the problem tomorrow. We're replacing the fold out sofa mattress and we've also purchased baking pans and restocked the kleenex.

Wonderful location. Close to everything. Barrock's Row is a block away and has wonderful restaurants, and a Starbuck's! Safeway grocery store is nearby too.

Location, location, location. No better place to enjoy DC from than this. Eastern Market and the nearby restaurants are ideal for the easy days...

The place is amazing. It is close to all monuments, as well as public transportation, so everything in the city is accessable. Great balcony, and new/modern ammeneties. Love the place.

We were having guests in from out of town for our wedding. The opportunity to have people stay in a very safe, well located part of town where they could have some fun was great. The place is very clean, well maintained and easy to find. Thanks a bunch!

The apartment was simply great. It has all the amenities we could have ever asked for. It is nice and close to the Metro so at the end of a long day sight- seeing we didn't have very far at all to walk to get home. There are great restaurants in the area (we highly recommend Marty's-ask for Vanessa). The neighbors were very friendly and helpful and the landlord was top notch in communication and personal service! I recommend this property to anyone who needs a place to stay in DC. Thanks Royal Crest for your part in a wonderful vacation. If we ever return to DC, we'll be in touch!
