The house did not disappoint you felt at home the moment you walked through the door! The fireplace was a wonderful feature to this house! The house was very clean and well kept. The owners of The Perfect Escape went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to accommodate a large group. After staying here we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on our yearly ski trip!

We had a wonderful stay at your property!! With 4 adults and 5 kids we had plenty of space and were only 10 minutes from the slopes. Very convenient to get to but also off the beaten path - we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice affordable and comfortable place to stay. Thanks Perfect Escape!

The layout of the house was great - cozy living area with lots of space for multiple small groups. The owner was great - communication was excellent. We had a great time - will probably go back.

Just for reference, the cell phone service is non-existant, not a problem, but don't be expecting it! The house has great wireless connectivity, so we still felt connected!

This was a very nice house, one of the best we have stayed in. House was spacious and very clean. We cooked everyday and it did lack some in pans and skillets and there were no pitchers. Everything else was great!!

This was our 17th annual sister trip. Over the years we have been to many places and various states , this place has outranked many for the furnishings and cleanness. It was roomy, clean and well stocked.(especially the kitchen. Everything was there needed for cooking. The furnishings were great, comfortable and roomy for our large group. It was certainly the perfect escape for us. One suggestion would be to give land line number so it could be left at home for families in case of emergencies since cell phones did not work. Connections on lap tops were great.

We had a great time at this home, although unfortunately a few of our friends bailed at the last minute, so we had only 9 people rather than the planned 13 in the house. It's an enormous, lovely home that could definitely have fit our full party.

Very clean and comfortable, and convenient to the slopes. Solid hot tub, got the wireless working well, and Direct TV's Sirius stations worked well in lieu of a stereo. The folks at First Tracts were very friendly and responsive, and did us a favor in allowing us to leave our trash out on the porch upon checkout rather than bringing down.

When they say you need a 4WD vehicle to get here (in the winter), they mean it though. It's close to the main road, but up some steep hills. Since hopefully it's snowing when you go to Snowshoe, that means trouble for smaller cars. My Civic and my friend's big truck made it up fine, but our friends' little Geo didn't, so he just parked at the bottom of the hill and we shuttled back and forth with the truck.

Would come back to this spot, except i don't think i can organize a trip big enough!

While we were a group of 20-somethings, this would be great for large families, since bedrooms across 3 floors would yield plenty of privacy.

We stayed at The Perfect Escape home for a long weekend of skiing before Christmas. The home was great, close drive to the snowshoe mountain, great decks to relax on, plenty of room to spread out, and a great hot tube. We loved it and would definitly recommend it.
