Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

The complex our condo is in is a small 2 story building with only 7 units down and 7 up. It is directly on the beach and has a large private pool between the complex and the beach. It located about 3 miles south of Clearwater Beach with good access to shopping and restaurants.

The Tampa airport is about 45 minutes and the Tampa/St. Pete airport is about 20 minutes to the condo.

Our unit has 2 bedrooms with a king size bed in the master bedroom and private bath. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a complete kitchen with bar and breakfast nook.

The living room overlooks the beach and has a 46' LCD HD TV with DVD player and stereo. The living room couch is new with a pullout bed that will comfortably sleep 2.

The patio off the living room has lawn furniture and a small electric grill.

Keywords: Ground Floor Unit, Newly Decorated, 150 Ft. from Gulf, 3 Miles from Clearwater Beach; 45 Minutes from Tampa.

About The Owner

Born and raised in rural Illinois and began going south for winter vacations about 20 years ago. I'm a practicing professional engineer with a few more years till retirement. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. They've all been to this complex and love it. The grandkids spend hours on the beach while Mom & Dad watch them from the pool deck. It's truly a paradise/

We just arrived back from our vacation this past week and I wanted to send you an email to tell you how much we loved your condo. Everything was just perfect, the renovations that you did really made our stay so much more enjoyable. Both Jennifer and I absolutely love well decorated, well cared for homes and you all clearly invested a significant amount of time and energy (and money) in making this condo the absolute best unit we have ever stayed in. You have certainly given us something to aspire to in our own beach condos! The kitchen and family room both look great, the countertops, appliances, under the cabinet lighting, cabinets, tile floors, wall paper, wall colors, window shutters, chandelier, plasma TV’s and that master bath, all just wonderful! But we think the best feature of the condo isn’t anything that a decorator or designer can touch, and that is the view of the of the Gulf of Mexico from the kitchen/living room and patio……just spectacular! The palm trees frame in the most beautiful view of the gulf we have ever seen.

We are grateful we had the opportunity to stay in your condo, and we worked hard to treat it as our own home while we were there. We look forward to coming back to Sonrisa and staying in your condo again very soon (tomorrow if we could!)

We did try to book your condo for Easter break 2013 from March 29th- April 5th, but 3 Palms said that you had placed a hold on that week. Obviously we would love to stay in your place, and if for some reason your plans change and the unit comes available could you let us know? After this last visit, I just don’t know if we could be happy with any other place! ;-) Also if you ever are looking to sell (I don’t know why you would) but if you do, let us know!

Very luxurious and well-maintained unit. The listing information was accurate and reflected the high caliber furnishings and decor. We enjoyed watching sunsets from either the patio, the living room, or on the beach. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby, though it was useful to have a rental car. We enjoyed visitng the Bird Sanctuary in Redington Beach, the Smugglers Cove mini golf, the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, John's Pass shopping and dining area, PJ's Oyster Bar, Columbia Restaurant in Clearwater, Frenchy's, Guppy's Restaurant, Crabby Bill's Restaurant, Pass-A-Grille Beach area, and just relaxing . We made daily walks up the beach, alternating between north and south. It was fun to watch the various shore birds and we spotted dolphins in the evening once just off shore. We would recommend this unit to friends looking for an upscale place right on the beach. The only problem we had was the weather was not the best for swimming or beach lounging. We had several days of 60 degree weather, and near constant winds that made a light jacket necessary. We also ran into a problem about having to turn a switch to turn on the A/C-heating unit that was not clearly marked. The management company was very responsive. Also the clothes washer was erratic in that it worked fine some days, but not others. They were sending someone to check on it the day we were leaving. We want to thank the owners for sharing this special place that is clearly very dear to them.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
