Big 2-story 5BR/2BA Home, with miles of Lake Michigan shallow waterfront

Single family home with private shallow, sandy Beach. Perfect place for family and group fun! Pets welcome. Please inquire

Our Home:

- 2-story home nestled in the woods and so close to the beach. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves.

- Large 2800 sf home, 2 kitchens, 2 family rooms.

- The 2nd floor is a large white-washed, knotty-pine great room with a stone-covered fireplace (non-working), a newer maple kitchen with a table for 4, a dining area for 8 as well as 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a light filled sun room that leads to a deck.

- The Master bedroom with King bed, great room and sun room all have views of the lake.

- The 1st level is new with 3 bedrooms, a full bath, laundry facilities, mini-kitchen with seating and a nice family room facing the lake.

NOTE: Inside access between 2 floors is an circular staircase.

OPTION: Add the 1930's pine cottage. It's a sleeping room with separate bath and perfect for your teens or family member's who want added privacy.

THE MAIN HOUSE: Fully equipped kitchen on each floor. Main 2nd floor kitchen includes refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster and coffeepot, as well as dishes, utensils, pots and pans and filtered water.

2nd floor kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster oven, dishes and table and chairs for 4.

There is a washer and dryer on the 1st floor in the bathroom.

Telephone for free local and long distance in the US. Basic cable TV and VCR/DVD in 2nd floor living area and TV with VCR on the 1st floor. Charcoal Grill.

This is a 'green house'. Recycling encouraged.

Area:: The property is about 6 miles north of the city of Manistee and 7 miles South of Onekama.

Golf at Arcadia National which in only about 10 miles north of us.

This is a great location for 12+ guests of all ages. The low bluff to Lake MI made neighboring renters jealous. Great lake and sunset views from the main rooms, nice (small) yard area for lawn games, and of course a wonderful sandy beach (no rocks or seawalls to deal with). Close proximity to hiking trails, golf courses (try The Heathlands in Onekama!), grocery stores, towns of Manistee and Onekama made for the perfect location. The home is not the newest on the beach, but clean, clean, clean. Owner was available via phone to answer any questions. Everything worked, and beds were clean and comfortable. Would definitely return again and recommend to family and friends.

We just came home from a great time in Manistee at Hidden Shores. The home was very large and very, very clean. Its location on Lake Michigan was beautiful and the weather cooperated with four straight days of sun and water like glass. Eileen is great to work with and open to options. Check it out.
