Thanksgiving Visit

Thanksgiving Group Godfrey, IL
Review Submitted: December 3, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. This home is perfect for a large group. The kitchen and dining areas are spacious. Thanksgiving Dinner for 15 was no problem.

We had older children in our group, so the downstairs area became their hangout. They played pool and ping-pong non-stop.

We were able to hike on the trail along the river and enjoyed seeing the wildlife right out the door.

We will definitely be back!!

The house was as advertised. Right on the river and very spacious. The owners, Fred and Ellen, were great to work with. We had a family reunion with 5 young children (11 people total) and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Wonderful Large Family Home

R Kirk Atlanta, GA
Review Submitted: January 6, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We had three families stay at this home for the 2009 Christmas week. The home is nice and large with two fireplaces that create a wonderful winter warmth in the kitchen keeping area and the living/great room. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table seats 10 easily. There are four full baths which is a great blessing for a large gathering with kids! It is in a great location, convenient to the resort area and to Dillon. The driveway easily accomodates three vehicles with no shuffling and can accomodate up to five easily. All should thoroughly enjoy this home.

The only place to stay as far as we are concerned. We have stayed here for several years now and have enjoyed the beautiful home, the beautiful views, and the convenience of the homes location. It is on the shuttle route so only one car is needed for our group. You can't go wrong staying here. There is only one problem that comes up each time. We don't want to leave!!!!!!!! Ron and Patti

Best place to stay for young children

Katie S Orlando, FL
Review Submitted: February 26, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008
We have just booked this house for a third year of skiing. It is the best accomodation possible for people skiing with young children. Our group consists of 3 families with a total of 8 (soon to be 9) children under 6 years old. The house is perfectly set up for sleeping and recreating with our large group. The kitchen is big with a huge refrigerator that easily holds a weeks worth of food. The basement has a many games and toys and the hot tub is a family favorite. Best of all, the EASE bus picks up at the driveway within 10min of calling it to transport riders to the Mountainhouse ski lift and back. There is a ski check at the bottom of the lift so there is no need to lug children and skis back & forth. It is better that the often lengthy hikes of the ski-in/ski-out places we have previously stayed in. The owner, Ellen, is very accomodating with pack-n-plays and high-chairs and baby-gates, if needed. Hint: there is a Sam's club on the way out of Denver that we stop at to stock up on food for the week!

Great vacation rental

I would highly recommend this home away from home for any large group. This was the second year our group stayed there and have no plans to stay anywhere else when returning to the Keystone area.

It has easy access to skiing, shopping and many restaurants. The emenities will make you feel like you've never left home.

The owners were extremely helpful through the rental process and met our every need. Our group will definately stay there time and time again.

Definitely Home Away

SMoore Florissant, Missouri
Review Submitted: August 2, 2007 Date of Stay: July 2007
My husband and I along with my family (mother, sisters, and nieces) visited Keystone and stayed in the Fulkerson's home there. We were more than happy. Comfortable from the moment we walked through the doors of the home.
The home offers all that is listed in the listing and is especially convenient for those with small children and don't want to travel with items such as high-chairs and playpens.
The view from the back of the home is beautiful with the sound of the river relaxing you.
We will definitely rent this home again when staying the in Keystone area.
