repeat!!!!
From the first phone call to inquire , to the end of our one week vacation , we were well taken care of . My family unanimously agrees that we would like to return to this rental next year . The house was perfect , everything as stated . The dishwasher quit working . After one phone call , the repairman showed up . The dishwasher needed to be replaced which was done the same day .The beach was awesome , quiet,relaxing . wonderful experience .

AMAZING VIEW
There is nothing better than a stay at the beach. Coffee on the deck in the morning was amazing. While we had a few glitches in the beginning, they were all taken care of immediately and pleasantly by the management staff. I would not recommend staying in a place that is for sale, showings may occur while there, but luckily we were going to be gone that particular day. The house had everything necessary to cook (if you so choose to). We had a total of 7 people residing in one house and there seemed to be plenty of room for us all. The outdoor shower was crammed full of stuff, so that was pretty much useless, but the 2 baths inside seemed to be adequate. Gulf Shores was amazing, we had the trip of a lifetime, and made many memories to reflect back on. A good time was had by all.

We had a Gulf Blast in this rental!!!!!!
Our week started out with the ocean a little choppy but still beautiful. Each new day brought better weather and more blue skies and white sand. The house was convenient and well stocked and our stay was magnificent. We loved the deck in the evening and with a celestron telescope that great granddady brought, all of us got to see the moon close up!! We had four generations taking showers, baths, and cooking and the house was perfect with none of us falling over each other. I would recommend this to any family as the beach was very family friendly and the house is suited for this. The home owner and the real estate company were just super to work with and we would do this again....hopefully next year!!! Don't think twice about renting this property. You will love it.!!!! Thank you so much for our stay at this house. When I opened the door I just stopped and stared ! It was truly beautiful. The spiral staircaise leading to the loft just was perfect ! The furniture was not only extremely comfortable but beautiful also. The view from the porch is awesome, no kidding !! I am happy to say that the wildlife is definately making a comeback from the oil spill. Everyday we watched dophins !! With babies !! Alot of pelicans, and seagulls. I went swimming in the surf, seeing a numerious amount of small rays.......they are non agessive they simply moved as I waded in, not to mention the little crab that stood his ground as I walked past. (funny).
The house has everything you need in a beautiful kitchen. LOTS of pans and dishes, you really do not need to bring a thing for the kitchen except food. I would love to keep this as my secret spot, but it would not be fair to be selfish. So with that.....this IS the place to be !!!!
The people we met are so nice. Everyone should try Oceans restaurant for fine food! They are no longer a pizza place. The Chef Eric, is truely a professional.

DISAPPOINTED
This was our 1st stay at Ft. Morgan but have stayed in the Gulf Shores area dozens of times. We were disappointed to find the house was not quite what we expected. There was plywood and other building materials laying under the house and it was clear that the house has been well-worn. The problem was really the next morning when we got up to enjoy a gorgeous morning and found out that there were about 25 pieces of heavy machinery deep cleaning the beach directly in front of the house. It completed obstructed the view and we were told by neigbors that this was a 24-7 deal. BP was doing a great job. But unfortunately directly in front of about a dozen Spring Break families. Thankfully, the realty company was gracious. They tried to find us another location but could not. We were taken care of but ended up having to move after unloading all of out "stuff". So, beware of BP cleaning still going on down there. Ask first before you book.

How disappointing for you all to have had the BP workers ruin your stay. BP had finished miles 22-8 prior to your stay and finished up miles 8 to the Fort last week. All BP equipment is off the Fort Morgan beaches. Unfortunately, they were over a month behind their posted "schedule", and inconvenienced everyone who owns or rents along Fort Morgan Road - including you all:(
My husband and I just returned from stocking the house for the season. In the 9 years of owning Gulf Blast - it was built in 2001 - we have never had a poor review - never a complaint, in fact. I am so sorry your family wasn't pleased and certainly hope you try another home on Fort Morgan in the future. Most of us lost every single rental we had last season due to BP's negligence and have worked very hard to try and climb out from under the horrific financial and personal loss they have cost us. The gulf coast area could truly use your future support.

Wonder family fall retreat
Excellent location. Loved the house and had a wonderful restful week. We enjoyed the well stocked beach library, watching the sunrise and sun sets and coffee on the deck as the dolphins cruised up and down the beach. The "tween" loved the loft bedroom and we would certainly stay here again.

Amazing Vacation
My husband and I planned a trip to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan last summer with 10 other friends, not knowing anything about the area. This house was perfect and we had an amazing time! The beach was not crowded and there were great views from the deck. We were a short drive to many fun restaurants and activities and Maureen was so helpful giving us suggestions for things to do! Everyone on our trip was so excited to come back again for a vacation in 2009. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone!
